CKA Tournament July 2023 This was my first time being on Tuckertown Reservoir and it took me until noon to get my first fish in the boat. It was a very hot summer day and the water conditions weren't the best. CCKF Tournament #2 Lake Mackintosh North Carolina Kayak Bass Fishing Started the morning dragging a Ned Rig and switched over to a drop shot mid morning. Switched over to a weightless senko in the afternoon. Working baits over wood and rocky points. Great day overall, but came up short of a limit.

The morning was very slow and I caught my first bass around 9:00 (14in). The second bass came about 2 hours later (12in). The hour later came the final bass of the tournament (12in). Caught all my fish on a red square bill crankbait.
