1 Peter 1:13-21- Be Holy Because God Is Holy
This is Garry Glaub in Mooresville, North Carolina, and today we are discussing 1 Peter 14-21. Peter brings up the revelation of Jesus Christ, which is the unveiling of Jesus Christ, and then focuses on our calling to be holy just as God is holy. We are not to be negatively affected by the world we live in, but instead, our lives should reflect that we are separated from the world in honor and worship of the God we follow.

It sure seems like this is the best book in the New Testament to perfectly see the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy in regard to Jesus as the Messiah. Are you going to study the Book of Revelation?
Thank you for sharing truth from God’s word!
Absolutely. Thanks for watching! God bless you.
Funny how I came across this video cause I have never listened to Hebrew before, I have 4 Bibles but don't read them cause I have a hard time believing in what they say (like someone following them around recording every details ~ Impossible) The Bible has very interesting stories ❤ Thank You for sharing the scriptures ❤🙏❤
@@KCc2059 I am writing a devotional every day and this is one of those. Thanks for stopping in and welcome back anytime. A great friend is having some severe vision issues, has difficulty reading easily, and I am trying to read the devotional and putting it here to make it easier on him. I will continue to do so and can also put you on the list and text you the written version if you send me your phone number to gg4jesus@gmail.com. Appreciate the comment. The Bible can be a bit overwhelming when we focus on the size of it. But like I said, it is a love letter from God to us as believers, and even to people that are questioning those beliefs and wanting to learn more about him.
❤❤❤Beautiful thank you so much
Thanks
This is a blessing. I am in Greensboro, hope to see you soon

These are great tips! I’m age 71, and I memorized all the books as a child. For some strange reason, the Old Testament books are still easy for me to recall, but the New Testament, not so much! I believe I have conquered that list also now!! It’s important to memorize as many Scriptures as possible because as I watch western civilization crumbling before my eyes, it seems possible that eventually our memories may be all we can count on!! 🙏
Thank God❤
Oh man you’re a lifesaver
Thank you so much for helping us God bless you
What a wonderful tribute Glaub. I love Whitney and, oh yeah, I love you as well my friend.
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing this... I am trying to teach myself how to remember all the books of the bible. I never seen anyone do this before.. How long did that take you to do? This is amazing.. God Bless you
Wow! How long did it take you to do that? I love this.. Thanks for sharing. I wish you printed the words. I trying to learn the books of the hole Bible. God Bless you always and your ministry
This was a very good translation. I'm reading my Bible lately and as I was reading Job I began to get frustrated with how he was questioning God. Then Elihu steps in and I was like wait a minute. Job kept going on and on and at one point I turned to my husband and said Job is not right. What is the point of Job? Then Elihu pops in at the end and speaks up. I wanted to get a deeper understanding and your video gave me that, thank you. I was recently sick and in the hospital with two back to back surgeries and I kept asking God why, why me? This was really humbling. He, God knows all, sees all and he has his plan. We need to have faith. Thank you Elihu for being so brave and teaching me a lesson this morning.
The Book of Job is difficult, particularly because no one desires pain and suffering. But it is a huge blessing to know that we serve a God who has promised us that if we love Him, all is for our good and His glory. That equals “no bad gifts.” He is with us. Elihu gave great advice but he still honored his elders by letting them speak at length first. Thanks for the encouraging message. Blessings to you!
Truly a Blessed way to learn Bible books name.
