The weapons are a kind of hodgepodge collection that I put together to work around some game issues. Still it is amazing given that it isn’t optimized like the classic spiral wave setups. But a lot of it in ISA is piloting. I have a lot of practice here because I just usually play this particular map most of the time lol. My max impulse speed varies a lot due tit he fact that I never move anywhere without a buff to my speed.

No. Mustar is a good pilot that got around 500k himself. One thing i do not do is AFK people. That is why I usually solo. We do this a lot.

Besides, this was a private instance and in privates you never get afk or leaver penalties.

You can do either. Replacing it with a dbb and running full faw will probably yield more immediate results, whereas more precision with the ttf dhc will yield greater DPS potential. Both paths are fine, so you do what you are more comfortable with.

Depends on your playstyle really. Best way to increase you damage is to work on your aiming. The better your aim, the better you can land big chunk hits constistently. The way I learned was watching a few YT videos about aiming, then taking that knowledge into the Training Rooms against targets moving but NOT armed and practicing over and over how to lead, where to aim etc etc. Leveling up faster comes with experience. The better you do in matches the more XP you earn. Things like working on your aim to increase damage, working objectives, learning how to position and angle to tank incoming rounds as potential damage (amount of damage fired at your ship) plays a large role in XP earnings as well. Its a complicated system. Another thing I highly recommend to help level faster and make more income, is at the very least invest into a Premium Account. Thats a 65% base increase alone and also if money isnt too tight, I would buy up some level 2 economy boosters for your ship and if able, a good premium ship (tier 7, 8 or 9) to help speed up gaining credits, XP and leveling commanders as premium ships have enhanced economies.
