"recast from the Original 1970s "Captain Kirk" mask molds by Don Post Studios worn by Nick Castle as "The Shape" in the first Halloween movie. Don Post has recreated their original mask in high quality latex, and each one features hand laid synthetic hair and airbrushing." It cost about £65, but none of the other cheap ones looked right.

@notchjohnson1 This is the start of my Halloween short movie. Made by me for my friends Halloween party 2006. All the victims are my friends and each one had to keep their scene a secret until it's first screening at the party on 28th October 2006. It was shot entirely on a simple JVC MiniDV camcorder and edited in Sony Vegas 7 by myself over a period of about 3 weeks. The final cut was made only minutes before arriving at the party itself. Watching at the party for the first time was very funny

@notchjohnson1 Yeah, cos everything that happens in horror movies makes sense doesn't it? Like splitting up, not turning on the lights or going down in the cellar to investigate... It's called comedy! ;)

@dercssfreak2 This was a broken tree branch we found laying around that we fixed to her chest somehow (it was so long ago now, I can't remember exactly), Then we cut a hole in her shirt to poke it thru. Hope this helps.

@dercssfreak2 made the cuts just with fake blood made from golden syrup & food colouring, using red blue & black to get deep cut effects.... oh and lots of quick edits. We shot her screaming, then added another cut, shot her, added another cut etc... hope this helps.

Nice work Ade. I'm ashamed to say its taken me so long to watch all the scenes (scene 6 didn't load tho..) You do a great job of creating a sinister atmosphere and tension. The Horror isn't always apparent apart from scene 8 with the eye gouging, the character is weak & cannot fight back. really nice work, & sorry I didn't watch it sooner! Scarey thing is, I've been to most of their houses! never going back...

I don't use Windows Movie Maker, I used Sony Vegas. The footage was taken from the DVD and then I composited a black square over the original titles in Vegas, then added my titles over the top of that. Hope this helps :)

nice film, ive watched all the scenes available online, really good. I have the exact same mask as that and the hair is a bit much, I'd trim it a bit. Nice job.

the part when 'she's brushing her teeth and she opens up the mirror and she closes it and her boyfriend pops up' was great..

great job! i am a fan of the halloween series and i can't tell you how proud i am to see a GOOD halloween fan movie. it was great. just trim the hair on the mask and YOU"RE GOOD>

i agree with morenos777....you are talented and yes, trim the hair on the mask, but other than that, i agree that it is a very cool video. great job!
