I remember the Hey Arnold episode specifically with the kids being aliens. That is the episode that made me enjoy the show. Interestingly there are only 3-4 DVDs with Nicktoons actually on the case which is crazy! Would love to see more content about the Nick Picks DVDs

My favorite thing about the dvd's were obviously the previews themselves. As a kid growing up autistic with vhs tapes, I was scared of the Paramount feature presentation

for some reason these dvds never included the Jimmy Neutron holiday specials, not even the Christmas one. 😭

I remember getting that DVD from Blockbuster, and I was obsessed with the song from The Fairy Oddparents, which I always played back again.

A lot of these episodes kinda freaked me out as a kid👀😱 but no worries! I’m an adult now and can tackle this dvd with no issue now👉😎👉 once again, fantastic work Mr. Shoo

The Shoogy Shoo (adore your name btw!), i agree with you pretty much 100%. There are a FEW good moments here and there, but yeahhh.. i actually liked Asha and Valentino's characters designs, but yeah, this movie's pretty trash, ngl. There were so many people who loved working on this with the original ideas such as the evil king and queen, their lynx cat Charo, and our Aster, who was gonna be Asha's boyfriend, she would've had a different personality like Kida and Esmeralda, and At All Costs? It was gonna be THEIR song! Yeah, that song about the wishes between Asha and Magnifico (which i have called it The Imposter and the demo version At All Costs)? That was gonna be between her and Aster! WHYYY?! We. Were. ROBBED! Oh, I've done 3 rewrites on Wish, but the first one i ever did is called 'Tale of the Pure Wish' which im doing a second draft for is my absolute favorite! If you want, i can tell you how it goes, because ive been DYING to tell someone my story, and i wonder if you've got a rewrite planned or not.. either way, id love to hear your ideas or how your version goes!😊😊😊😊

Why does TF One feels Canadian? :) Also D-16's funny 'haicut' helmet design (at least the black one) is a clever nod to his initial G1 design ( 5:06 ), before we got the iconic gunmetal grey version of his final form. Also about your question about how canon this lore is. There were several canons, an usually the canon is the lore/canon of the current running show/continuity. (but there are story elements which are fixed. like Megatron's/Orions friendship, Cybertron being a dystopia before the Great Civil War, Megatron starting out as a low class revolutionist who wanted to improve the lives of the everyday people, before he got corrupted by his lust for power, and revenge just to name a few) Also Tf One is an amalgamation of several lore elements/story arcs from several different continuties. XD Like Megatron's D-16 low class miner origin came from the IDW comics/Aligned continuity, just like the 'class/caste' system. Orion, D-16/Megatron being sworn brothers/best friends working together to topple a false prime (Sentinel who posessed the Title of a Prime without having the Matrix), and his opressive, corrupt government was taken from the Aligned continuity, just like Starscream's TF One's backstory (Megatron taking Starscream's men after beating him to scrap happened in the War for Cybertron games). G1 also influenced this film in pretty significant ways, like cogless bots unable to transform during the Quintesson rule, the Quintessons, Orion being a low class manual labourer (he was a dock worker in the G 1 series), Megatron killing Orion before he was rebuilt as Optimus Prime to house the Matrix, Optimus's energy axe at the end fight etc. Sentinel is reminiscent of TFA's interpretation of the character (blue/gold, big chin, narcissistic asshole) and he had a very similar weapon Sentinel used in the Baymovies. :) Orion being a history nerd, spending his time in the Archives is a clever nod to TFP, just like the music (TF One, and TFP has the same composer, and he put elements/musical themes from TFP into this movie) And these examples are just a few of the ton of inspiration they took.

As someone who’s also never really been into Transformers, this is one of those things that’s makes me “get it.” It felt like it had a story to tell, by people with a passion for this franchise and its potential. I didn’t care for the humor though.
