@@MJHokage it's not really possible to translate exactly whats printed on those cards english and japanese are so different you bassically have to omit certain things for it to make sense in english so i couldn't enjoy japanese cards properly since i cant read it

Exactly! 📈😎 good call on getting the nm copies when no one was buying them and the prices fell off b/c like you said the artworks are fire and the pull rates are harder. So more chase cards and tough pull rates is a recipe for singles and PSA 10’s to rise over time 🤯😎📈

yup i grabbed a few nicely centered ones at target, sold raw or chance it with the grading, they sell fast if they have decent centering on ebay

A perfectly centered Greninja promo will hold great value knowing that it’s an SIR PSA 10 potential esp when sealed.

Good point! A lot of eBay sales for the promo esp when it has great centering and the quality of the promos have been good with edges and corners. The grading potential is still strong for this promo! It continues to drive the promo price up ✊🏽😎 💸 will see what happens when these boxes 📦 get sold out , and if we get limited restocks the value could just keep going up

@@MJHokage yea pokemon has gotten better with how the promos are packed in the boxes. They used to be wedged in the plastic holders like ew and now they're sandwiched in nicely. all mine of this box were near mint no damage/white

I lowkey agree I still like Sword and Shield 🛡️ as a buy right now but once the boxes hit $300 I wouldn’t buy into them but before them I think in the long run as an investment it will be worth it. Sun and Moon boxes have performed so well for top tier boxes. And I could see Sword and Shield 🛡️ boxes pushing $400 - $600 in the next 2-3 years like LO, FS, AR, ST. But we’ll see what happens, also those Chinese Alt Arts are nice and cheap!

While the cats are chasing the mice (psa/dna, beckett, cgc) I'll take the cheese (sgc slabs) it's officially psa/dnas sister company and grades extremely tough I was getting higher quality tens for nearly half the price but it's tightening up over time.

@@Doors067 actually i saw an sgc grade 10 slab on ebay recently.. wanted to buy and cross grade to psa.. but i saw there was a few visible whites.. so my impression hasnt been good Then again it was only one sgc card which i saw

It is a game to a lot, but investment for many. Then there are those who collect AND invest! The TCG Bull run has just begun and sets like 151 are growing organically. The more people who want 151 the more the product will go up. Like all Pokemon sets, it will eventually stop being produced. 151 will explode even more when that happens. Look at EvoSkies.

I do agree with you that cards can become stagnant and quite possibly for “years” but it’s not black and white predictable. so I disagree with you on your point of “most of them never recovering”. XY Era’s most expensive cards already have been recovering for the past 3-6 months with many of them seeing All-Time Highs for the year. Truth 🙏🏽📈📊is investing requires that you follow and adjust to the market and you understand and appreciate your own risk tolerance. You either sell and make a profit/loss or buy with risk.
