This is a perfect edit. I love the song choice as it really does work well for Aye and Akk--they really do find that their love is defined by their "being" or presence in one another's' life and the silence that they can share together. I think the couples I have seen in real life that have really good relationships are ones that can not only talk easily with one another but can enjoy the silence together as mentioned in the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Barrows and Shaffer, "I can't think of anything lonelier than spending the rest of my life with someone I can't talk to, or worse, someone I can't be silent with.”
