Dueling Yamahas
The "Giant" was the musicians more than the gentle one! The "nec plus ultra" of that era! When you know from where they started to evolve into one of the greatest prog band planet Earth given us! Chapeau, Messieurs!
I re del "vero" rock progressivo inglese ovvero mondiale.
Wonderful musicians, among the greatest.
Compared to Gentle Giant, many of the chart-topping bands of the time were just school bands.
2024. Still a banger.
GG remind me of Zappa. Amazing prog band.
Wow, so great....
Ridiculous voices but great music
Get out of town clown vocals are kick ass damm great legendary genius. You are obviously clueless and misguided.
Todos y cada uno = MASTERS
Buenísimos.
Thank you prog gods ,for giving us Gentle Giant .
The dueling guitars of Ray and Gary is mind blowing and I’ve seen other live versions of this tune where they perform that section differently.
I've met so many proggers who've never heard of GG and I don't get it.
Amazing concert from the greatest prog band of them all.
A bunch of true genius irreplaceable musicians. We will never ever have anything even remotely close to this band.
What a band!
always a great progressive band i like
Love this song
Audience damned quiet, wondering what the hell? Witnessing greatness.
26:00. Who is that playing xylophone? That is f-in amazing. That is Ruth Underwood on a good day. holy cow.
I know it is Minnear. How brilliant.
That must be the shortest half hour in history!
More like the greatest half hour in history.
A giant band
Extraordinary. Without peer.
I learned some of my moves from Ray, like to dance, sing & play multi instruments!
The more I watch these guys, the harder it is for me to believe the ease with which they play some of the most complex and demanding music ever written for band instruments.
Been a devoted fan since 1974 with In a Glass House. Just incredible.
☮ anos 70.... ☮
Platinum! With Love from Romania!❤
I love the dance ryrthms of on Reflection. It was 1975!
Keine andere Band beherrschte Polyrhythmik, Kontrapunkt, harmonisch und melodische Raffinesse wie Gentle Giants.
I saw them at a bar called a joint in the woods in 72 or 73 for 5 bucks
The amazing and truly Giant of 70's prog rock.
I saw them 7 times in concert in Montreal,,every times i was wondering if i should sale my guitar after...hehe Thems and Jethro Tull where out of this world in concert....!!!❤❤❤❤
We miss you Ray!!
The only classic prog band that knew how to rock AND funk.
When i die their music will be in my head, simply celestial, thak you G.G.
‘75 We bought box office 5th row center at the Chi Auditorium.
I was there also , I was 19 years old and couldn't believe how amazing the were , this is when music was played by real musicians not like this crap like rap they listen to these days, day not once did anyone need to say motherfer in any of all these amazing songs written by amazing musicians, I sure do miss them good ol days, Cheers ! ! !
Terrific stuff.
They taught me to strive to be a multi instrumentalist.
Me too what instruments do you play?
30+ minutes for a full concert 3+ songs I doubt a whole concert!
Every player in this band is outstanding ! Blowing me out since 73
they were awesome, the new remix vid is great..
Criminally underrated by the narrow minded music honchos of the day; this band were unique in their approach to progressive music. A mini orchestra, playing a range of instruments with skill and style. Great memories!!
Love them...epitome of prog rock
Could anything be More English?
I would love to see Gentle Giant around this time period. They always leave me with a big smile on my face. 😊
Highest musicianship that is wasted for incoherent tootling
Incredible! I love this!
Hands down my favorite band. The Giant can do no wrong.
