Creole is a woman’s name who is a full-blooded Indian; but her nationality is Monarch and she knows this; she’s not African, black or Negro. She’s allowed people to disrespect her nationality, culture, family, friends and the country she was born in. She lived in Robeline at one time! #national

Love it
Zydeco is NOT Cajun !
Thank you. 🎉 He spoke broken down french, Spanish, American Indian , sprinkled with some African Base.. giggling In them times trying to further the genre, it was politics involved. It's room for it all.
Cajuns were there, that's where the French influence came from. But yeah, you're right it is a Creole music! Cajun tunes were one source of inspiration among others. Similar to how bluegrass has given the jazz treatment to old Irish fiddle tunes and African banjo music ✌️

Love it. True jewels that you can't get except from live music. You feel this like blues.
He is the baddest!
He adjust/tuned his own accordions thats why u can hear the echo. Y sin escuela! Bien chingon el parche.
Nombre puro pinche Tejano bro!!! Brown Town ayyyy😎🇺🇸🇺🇸
Long live Beau Jaques!
Bien
It was some time in the early 90's in Houston I met Steve at the Shakespeare pub. It was jam night on Monday and he was there to hang and have fun. He could not have been nicer. I mentioned how cool to have your name on the accordion-my not realizing it was his signature model. So embarrassed. He blew away the room with the accordion then borrowed my hard tail strat and did it on guitar. Most famous cat to ever play that guitar for sure. Still have it. What a memory and what a great guy. A rare talent that is missed for sure.
Arriba este senoron chingao

Beau J. and Clifton Chenier...that's all you need.
This man was on a different Level.
Una delicia escuchar a Steve Jordan, en el ritmo que sea. Uno de los más grandes!
Wow k musica mas Hermosa.
It's great that he took our music to the good people of Lafayette!! Might not be a zydeco accordion but man can he play the hell out of that squeezebox
Toca chido, pero no lo conocía
That statement was a fallacy in itself zydeco has nothing to do with a continent called Africa. Eurocentric version of f****** history. Lol.
