Helitak FT4250 Super Puma Fire Tank
The Helitak FT4250 Super Puma fire tank STC Flight Validation tests were flown in Arlington, Washington USA in February 2022. The final FAA STC application package has now been completed and submitted for approval.

I like the controllable drop, About how many gallons for the Blackhawk?
Hi Rob, The capacity of the tank is always dependent on the empty take of weight of the aircraft - some of the ex-military Black Hawks have been well stripped of weight by their owners/operators whilst others have not - but the maximum water capacity available is over 1000 gallons! Helitak's Patented mounting system does not exceed the Hook load limitations. Regards Helitak
