I'm guessing the dilution is done to not overwhelm the plants with salinity? If yes, have you done any tests or trials to see how small the dilution can be before the plants can't handle it?
I have only done 1 to 10, but next time i make some i will test some different dilution 😊
@@MotosAllotmentGarden I'd love to see how the plants react when you don't dilute it at all, because I've seen countless TH-camrs repeat the line that it has to be diluted, but I haven't seen anyone actually using it undilluted and the effects of it.
How often can we use it.. Can we use it every day?
I make and use it two or three times a year. If your soil is really bad then do it once a month, leave one area untreated to see if it makes and difference 🤔
@@MotosAllotmentGarden thank you so much for your reply..
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
What's the reason for the 1-10 ratio? What if we used the fertilizer outright, without diluting it in the water? Would it be too much nutrients for the plants?
I have only used it outright on any empty bed with no plants growing, just weeds, it did not kill the weeds only made them grow faster. The bigger plants should be ok,
@@MotosAllotmentGarden So it seems like when we want to prepare the soil for future sowing, there's no need to limit the volume of the fertilizer, or to dilute it, right?
Should I keep the skins on or peel them off? Cuz some peeled off accidentally🤦🏼♀️ also wanted to know if I can do it in August?
Yes, I have had skins come off as well. But they grow ok. August should be OK to plant. Good luck 👍
Here in PNG we have the same magi 2minute noodles
There are a quick easy meal 😋. Special if you add green onion and coriander fresh from the garden
It’s mid July in Midwest MO. I have sprouted garlic bulbs. Is it ok to plant them outside now or should I try and wait until September?
I typically plant my garlic between mid-September and early November here in the UK, plant your sprouting garlic and us it like spring onion, but it will have a nice garlicky taste, you can us it in omelettes and other dishes
Kind of what I wanted to know as well it's also almost August here a couple days before and I'm in Ontario Canada?
I also wanted to know if I should keep the skin on or off cuz a few skins came off while I was peeling😅🤦🏼♀️
@@MotosAllotmentGardenso you kind of answered the question but didn't 😅 you just repeated what you said B4 😅If I plant it now in August in Canada. Specifically Ontario I (cuz know we're going to have a longer summer just like last year because ours summer started VERY late this year)Ours should run until November just like last year 😕 I think I will be safe😊 we've gotten so much rain at the beginning & middle of the summer if I would have done it sooner they would have drowned (went mushy) just from the rain alone. It is not common in the summer for it to rain this much here! I'm sure potato growers are not happy out east Canada they also have been getting hurricanes which is due to climate change😢😢😢
@@MotosAllotmentGardenoh I get it you planted in the fall so it's ready for spring. But in Canada we get snow and below freezing even when diesnt snow we've also recent years been getting ice storms and everything is Frozen but not that much actual snow.I think Frozen is worse
Hi, what is the purpose of adding salt.
Adding salt to JADAM Microorganism Solution (JMS) serves several important purposes in the fermentation process. Here are the primary reasons: Microbial Selection: Salt helps to select for beneficial microorganisms while inhibiting the growth of harmful ones. It creates an environment that favors the growth of salt-tolerant, beneficial microorganisms, such as certain types of bacteria and fungi that are useful for soil health and plant growth. Osmotic Balance: Salt can help maintain the osmotic balance in the solution, which is important for the survival and activity of the microorganisms. This balance helps prevent the cells from bursting or shrinking due to osmotic pressure differences between the inside and outside of the microbial cells. Nutrient Availability: Salt can aid in the solubilization and availability of certain nutrients that microorganisms need to thrive. It helps in the breakdown of organic matter, making nutrients more accessible for microbial uptake. Preservation: The addition of salt can act as a preservative, extending the shelf life of the solution by preventing the overgrowth of undesirable microorganisms that could spoil the mixture. Activation of Microorganisms: In certain formulations, salt can activate or stimulate specific enzymatic processes within the microorganisms, enhancing their ability to decompose organic matter and contribute to soil fertility. In summary, salt in JMS serves to create an optimal environment for the proliferation of beneficial microorganisms, ensure osmotic stability, enhance nutrient availability, preserve the solution, and activate microbial processes. At almost nine metres tall and weighing twenty tonnes, ∞ Blue is an immersive installation that pays homage to cyanobacteria, one of the world’s smallest living beings. Around three billion years ago, cyanobacteria first developed oxygenic photosynthesis and changed the nature of the Earth. The sculpture is a monument to these vital microscopic beings, who, along with their descendants found in the photosynthesising cells of all green plants, continue to provide the oxygen in every breath we take. On the surface, local clay and oxide glazes reflect Cornish mining history. The textural pattern on the ceramic tiles is generated by the reaction-diffusion algorithm found in nature from zebras to coral reefs.

I didnt know super markets sell these! Just wasted 20£ getting them getting a couple tubers off the internet.... ahh
To be fair I believe they're not available (not in season) right now so it's all good. Are these able to be grown through winter starting in fall by the way ? Id assume the frosts could kill it
I have only seen them available when they are in season, the ones i planted in this video are growing nicely, I will put a clip in the next plot tour video 😊, I am told they can survive in ground the winter in the UK,
@@MotosAllotmentGarden Hey guess what!... the bloody things have been growing in my back garden the last couple decades!! 😭 Atleast I've got a lot more than I thought I had now, haha. Will thin them out so they can make bigger tubers and possible transplant some into pots. Theyre already about 3 feet tall, would they transplant well do you think? The tubers and roots may all be connected and so I'd be severing a lot of the root system, though id love to get them into my fabric pots! Looking forward to your update video by the way

Hello good day. Can I mix JMS, JWA, JS and JHS together to apply on the farm? Or which of the them can be mix with JMS.
I have only Made JMS, and it does the job nicely, i dont see y not
Looks like a good sign
Yes, good start to the year
The useful window is a few hrs not 12 hrs
I got the 12hrs from the book page 165, I think it all depend on the ambient temperature you are making JMS in. some people i have spoken to there was ready in 24 hrs, yes that will only be good few hrs,
@@MotosAllotmentGarden The warmer the better? If not, what's the optimal temperature?

Anything you’d avoid putting in?
When making liquid fertiliser from weeds and grass, there are a few things you might want to avoid including: Toxic or Poisonous Plants: Be cautious about including any weeds or grasses that are toxic to animals or humans. Some common examples include poison ivy, poison oak, and certain types of thistle. Chemically Treated Plants: Avoid using weeds or grass that have been treated with herbicides, pesticides, or other chemicals. These chemicals can potentially leach into your fertiliser mixture and harm your plants or soil. Invasive Species: If you're dealing with invasive weeds, it's best to avoid using them in your fertiliser. Even though they might provide nutrients, you don't want to risk spreading their seeds. Diseased Plants: Don't include weeds or grass that show signs of disease. Using diseased plants in your fertiliser could potentially spread the disease to your other plants when you apply the fertiliser. Weeds with Tough or Woody Stems: Some weeds have very tough or woody stems that take a long time to break down. While they may eventually decompose and release nutrients, they can also make your liquid fertiliser mixture more difficult to manage and apply. By being selective about the types of weeds and grasses you use in your liquid fertiliser, you can ensure that it's safe and effective for your plants and garden.
