Why do charts and random walks look so alike? It's because the are created by very similar processes. To me, studying random walks led me to great discoveries, discoveries that helped me to classify trends, reversals and ranging markets easily. It all started with analyzing the wick-building process on tick data. First, you'll find that the ratios of Japanese candlesticks are on average identical to the ratios in random walk candlesticks. Then, you'll find that the wick associated with the close taked on average 1/4th of the candlestick's lifetime. Analyze the absolute price change of the candlestick (close minus open) and the last 1/4th of the lifetime together, and you'll be able to classify the market. You'll end up with a structure not only telling you the direction of the current market, but that will also give you a measure for the current risk of trading.

That will definitely be a B.S. startup! It has been proven so many times that the market is largely a random walk and therefore predicting or forecasting it is a lie with which people want to convince others that it is possible and that they want to make money with it. Stay far far away from this old illusion/lie.

Your videos (except the audio quality 😅) are amazing. For me personally your stuff are a bit advanced, but I am always checking them out. I understand that you have generated a series of signals. Can you also make a video, visualizing those signals on a chart so we can kinda make sense of the strategy? Also, wouldn't be amazing if we could plot our trading singals on a tradingview chart? Those python generated charts are so ugly... Too bad its not possible with Python to make an intergration or something with tradingview's lightweight charts.

Выглядит неплохо, сам пишу стратегии, но предпочитаю меньшие таймфреймы. Максимальная просадка к сожалению не радует, да и пока дождешься на часовике сделку вечность пройдет. Но если стратегию подать нейронке и задать правила награды, то по сути она в разы лучше может обучится.

I find your channel and your videos very interesting as you cover advanced topics. However, I would like to make the following critical comment: The audio quality is poor in this video, noise can be heard and the speech is very quiet. You generally have a strong accent which does not make it easy to understand you. The unnecessary background music in this video makes it even harder to understand. Please don't be offended, but I would suggest as an improvement: 1. Leave out the music 2. Make sure the audio quality is good and free of interference 3. Strive for clear and distinct pronunciation
