Little Canada is an attraction located at Yonge/Dundas on the lower level. I had put off visiting here, because it is a little expensive. I finally decided to go and I was blown away. I ended up spending 2 hours looking at all the displays. There is also a little hunt to find Maurice the Moose, which is fun for all ages. The details they have put into all of the buildings is incredible. The att...

I was recently at Union Station and came across this hidden Fun Facts display right inside the station. It shares loads of facts about the history of Union Station and the trains that go through the station. If you go to the Departures area, look for Alcove G on the left hand side. Go through the Alcove and you will find these beautiful windows filled with train history.

Im American and I like learning about Canada even tho they dont teach canada's history here in the states. One of my mom's Canadian friends gave me a $50 Canadian dollar bill.
No $1 bill? Looks better than the states
We have had a $1 coin since 1987.
Hello, what would you suggest: I will be in Toronto for 1 week with my family. We would like to hop on and off in different places in Toronto during the day. Can I get presto cards at the airport? Do I have to charge the card after the 2-hour term to continue riding?
You can buy PrestoCards at the UP station at the airport. Each member of your family would need a card. Kids 12 and under ride for free. A presto card is like a pre-paid debit card. You put money on the card and each time you use it it takes money off the card. You can get on and off within 2 hours without repaying. You can also get a digital presto card that works on your phone. Alternatively you can also use a tap credit card or Canadian debit card. If you do get a presto card be sure to check out the Presto perks to get discounts on some attractions.
Really? Where do u go? How does this help.
You can travel all throughout the financial district. It helps you keep dry in the rain or warm when it’s freezing cold outside.
Awesome thank you so much for sharing this I love white night it’s such a fun night out great vid 😊watching from Australia 😊
Thanks so much!
can tourists tap for entry using credit cards? or must we buy a ticket
Everyone can use a tap credit card.
What about the 12¢ per minute deal???
There is still a pay as you go option. It is $1 unlock fee and $0.12/minute. All pricing is on their site.
Best footage that I've seen
Thank you!

so you either use the code or the APP, right?
Yes. Either a code from the kiosk or the app.
Can you use tokens on the street car?
We no longer use tokens. I think you can validate a ticket by the payment machine. Otherwise it’s cash, credit, debit or Presto Card.
My friends lives at ottawa u this year
I inherited my fathers coin collection and theres a silver coin with a bobcat on it its 80% silver and 20% copper the whole collection its up for sale.😢
The sticker that explains that you have to wait for the green light has been removed, and thankfully the bike kept falling out because the bike stand was on a hill or I'd have been out $1200
Great photography!!!!. My heart will always refer to that year and THAT light show ❤

I’m Canadian too lol in Manitoba Winnipeg.
This is a great video for beginners moving to 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
About to visit Toronto and plan to have my Presto card only in Google Wallet. Don't need a physical card if I'm just visiting for a week. Would just having a digital card still give you the Presto Perks at attractions?
You should still be able to get the perks since you have a card.
@@VisitTorontoVideos hope to save a few bucks at the Toronto Argonauts game and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Thanks for the video and reply. Sure you'll forgive me that I'm a Calgary fan and will be wearing red.
Thanks for the video. So helpful 🙏🏻
So beautiful ❤
😃😄
That raccoon. 😂
As an American, I think Canadian currency is beautiful! I really dig it. I also love the transparent parts included and the Hologram effect. Very very nice monies.
C'mon Torontonians!... You didn't provide some key information!... TIMETABLE!... What is the earliest and the latest run of the UP Express from PEARSON Terminal 1?... What about Saturdays and Sundays?...
The time table is constantly changing. The best thing is to look at the website the day before you travel.
Canada
I never saw this corder
Last time I was on a Toronto subway was in 1981....
how would you let the drivers know where you want to go to? and when you press the button the bus driver WILL stop correct?
The bus follows a route. When you press the button the bus will stop at the next scheduled stop.
Hello. If I'll buy ticket inside the streetcar, should I pay the exact amount in coins or it accepts paper bill as well? Thanks
It only accepts coins I think. They don’t always work. Alternatively you can use your tap credit card to pay, but each person needs a card. You would tap your credit card where you tap the Presto card.
I’ve never been there before I’ve been to the science centre but not this museum
Since your bills are an Australian invention, polymer notes, your colour scheme is the same as well but in the wrong order to ours. Ours are: $5 Purple, $10 Blue, $20 Orange, $50 Yellow, $100 Green.
Are your bills the same size or are the different amounts different sizes?
the dime is the ship known as the Blue nose
Yo I've been living downtown Toronto for 19 years and yesterday was the first time I used bike share . That's legit fun
Hi! when getting off , is it required to tap the presto or no need?
No need to tap off.
do you need to tap again when getting off?
No. It is a flat fare. But you do have 2 hours to go on and off the TTC from the first tap.
Can I buy a presto card with an American credit card?
Yes
How to get admission there from India in undergraduate plss guide
Not worth it unless you are very rich and very lucky. I’m a Canadian but international students will have to pay 6x more than Canadians. Jobs in Canada on average pay very little, so if u come here for education it’s going to be costing 200k dollars and in Indian currency it’s almost 10 million rupees
Do children ride for free on the subway?
Children 12 and under ride free. You probably have to go through the aisle with an attendant to go through.
Ding ding!!!
Good stuff to know. I’m traveling to Canada in less than a weekX
Enjoy your trip!!!
So you need to tap in and out for any transport? Train, tram and bus? On the other hand, can you just use visa / credit card without needing Presto Card? thanks
You only tap on and off if using the airport train. On regular transit you tap on only. And you can get on and off as much as you want in 2 hours for 1 price. You can also use a Visa card. Use the same card to get the 2 hour transfer.
Thanks very much for the video! Whta if you buy ordinary ticket instead of presto card, you also tap the ticket and doors will open?
If you have a basic ticket you have to go through the ticket counter. The doors won’t open. You can tap with a credit card now, if that’s a better option.
