My Thankful Tree - Paper Bag Craft
Paper Bag Tree: This is a creative activity using paper bags. Make a paper bag tree! Get students thinking about the topic of gratitude - What are your students thankful about? Think about the people, places, and things in your life. Curious to hear your ideas! Enjoy!
Instructions:
Take a paper bag. Start from the opening and cut slits half way through. Then, hold the bottom of the paper bag and start twisting it to make the trunk. Take the smaller strips, twist and twirl them to make smaller branches. Cut out leaves from colored paper and write down things you are grateful about on each leaf. It could be about the people, places, and things in your life. Stick the leaves on the tree. You can get creative by adding berries and flowers or paper-folded objects or animals. Curious to hear how you would use this project. Enjoy!
