I've been watching your TH-cam videos for a while now, and there's a You Tube video I'd like you to watch and share with your family and friends. Your grandchildren will love what I did with the old Christmas classic T'was The Night Before Christmas. I adapted for the 21st century. I've titled it: The Night Before Christmas 21st C by Shawn Rhymes. One of the things I did was replace the pipe with milk and cookies. Thanks for watching it and sharing it. We watched a Space Shuttle launch from Hwy 1 just outside the entrance to Kennedy Space Center years ago. Don't know how far it was to the pad, but the ground really shook during the launch

I know you guys aren't in Florida any more but next time, if you shop at a Publix, their deli counter makes the best sub sandwiches you've ever had. The subs are famous all over the south. We buy groceries for the boat and a couple of sandwiches to take back for dinner. It beats boat cooking.

A line from the starboard rear to a cleat about 10 ft or more aft of Paradise instead of the line coming thru at the aft of Paradise will help cut down on sloppiness.

Talking about the Aston Martin residences, you had me curious. So I google it and you are not far off. $1.3 million to $14 million 😅

A foot note: did you know that peanut oil was the first fuel used in diesel engines? I was shocked when I found out while watching a video on the history of the diesel engines on TH-cam. I've have a 1987 Hatteras.... and never have a problem. The answer is Isolation Transformer. With Isolation Transformers, there is no physical connection between the boats electrical system, and the dock. The power is inductively transferred to the boat. A very worthwhile investment.

Cool museum with a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable docent! Maybe you two should resurrect those “house kits” and sell them for your next real estate venture (although you likely couldn’t price them at $1995 anymore 😂)

Just saw the crew of Andromeda on the same pier on their video today. They had just gotten back from the Bahamas. Think the whole point of them doing the loop was to go to the Bahamas on their boat!

Wow, I missed so much as a college student there and I miss what was there then that's now gone. Evinrude/Langford estate was still there then. Couldn't see it from the road, but we did go to the Outrigger a few times. Was the Benihana still there? It would have been on the left either right before or after you crossed the St Lucia river. There's a great interactive marine exhibit on Hutchinson Is and House of Refuge heading on that small road to sailfish point should have been on the list to visit. If you missed them, I guess you'll just have to do the loop again!

There is a show called Texas Country Reporter that details 2 or 3 quiet, out of the way , stories about people & places & Texas culture that most people know nothing about . Each episode is only 30 minutes long .. It is a lot like that you tube channel called - yep - Mark & Mel ! I heartily recommend both channels as a productive way spend a few relaxing minutes away from the busy hub-bubble of modern life !

6:11 on nice days, this "beach" is lined with skis and boats too. Sometimes just stopping for a quick break and kids are always climbing those cliffs which im not so sure is a good idea but mine did it a few times. This area is usually pretty busy and a few spots along the way north as well as this is a very fishing and boating area with many side roads on the water.

Shawn Rhymes here. For the most part I've enjoyed this video. The cliffs reminds me of the rock layers of the aftermath of the eruption of Mount Saint Helens in the state of Washington. The rock layers formed in hours, not thousands of years as some scientists would have us believe. Concerning your prop, I just put more than a grand into my vehicle that has 236,000 miles on it. You can punch Mark now that the camera is off. Watch the 1st actual loop video from the Boomershines. They talk about the shrimp and the noise they make. Since it's now August, this tip won't help much unless you go back again. Just north of Jupiter Inlet is Blowing Rocks state park. If you time rough sea conditions with a high tide you get the ocean blasting up through holes in the reef. Use to be free, but last time I was there they charged and they'd had a storm that covered a lot of it in sand. You can still get to it without paying. Park in the last beach lot before the vegetation starts on the east side of the road and walk along the beach 1/2 to 3/4 mile. It's worth the price if the conditions are right. Definite skip if they're not

I noticed pedals on the complimentary bikes . Did the marina have e-bikes available at the same rate or did they require a deposit ? On a side note , how many loopers use wheelchairs on land ? My wife & I .are thinking about trying to do the loop at a future date but her ability to walk is limited due to multiple sclerosis..How much cheaper are mooring balls than a marina ?

You were in our stomping grounds. My wife and I live in Stuart, right where you turn off the ICW to head into Stuart. All the boats going north and south on the ICW go right by our place, and we see all the boats going in and out of the St. Lucie Inlet. We love it there. Downtown Stuart is a charming village. I hope you tried one (or more) of the many excellent restaurants there -- in fact the restaurant at your marina, Sailor's Return, is one of our favorites. We go there by boat regularly during the winter. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.

I wonder if rain-x works on eisenglass? I haven’t driven my boat in the rain yet but I can see that being a problem.

That stretch is where we spend most of our time. between the palm beach and Boynton inlets. Peanut island and the adjacent sandbar is a super popular spot where people bring their boats and skis and hang.
