Hi! Thanks for watching 🤗March is a perfect time to go, since you will be able to see the beginning of the cherry blossoms! 🌸🍒 This was my very first solo trip too, I went to South Korea for 2 weeks and Japan for 3 weeks, and I think it was absolutely amazing! Yes it was scary in the beginning, but a good kind of scary, you know? I would definitely go again for sure! It was expensive but 110% worth it. I would definitely like to visit Tokyo again, but would also like to explore other places like Nagano. I am already thinking about when to book my next trip, Fall or Spring maybe? 🌱🍁 And you never know when it might be too late. Money can be earned again, but time cannot. Also if you have two whole weeks, I would definitely recommend visiting another city as well, Kyoto for example. It only takes a few hours with the shinkansen 🚅

This is a huge opportunity, it's getting warmer, beginning of cherry blossom, yen being so cheap right now etc. I would fly from Frankfurt (airport is 10min from where I live) to Tokyo, but with a stop in China both ways. It would be cheaper and, on the way back I would have a day to explore Shanghai (or was it Beijing don't remember, have to see when I book the flight). And yeah, I will spend some time in Kyoto and/or Osaka as well. Never been into social media myself, and I never took pictures of anything really. But this time I want to at least document some of it. Really looking forward to more of your videos, they are quite inspiring. I love to see other people go on solo travels :)

Had a really nice chat with another solo traveler in the airport there from Taiwan actually :) I had an 8 hour layover in Shanghai on my way home as well, I thought I could easily explore the city in that time, but I advice you to be careful because Chinese customs can be confusing and take a long time to get through! I was lucky to meet another solo traveler there again who had already gone through once 😂We ended up chatting and dining together at the airport for all those 8 hours... Ps. if you are taking the flight from Osaka home... do not trust Google Maps to the international airport, because I ended up at the domestic one, which is *not* close by. I was 20 minutes from missing my flight... 😬Got escorted by airport staff who made me skip all the queues hahah... As a solo traveler, I actually found it really comforting to vlog while I was there. It made me feel like I had a purpose for being there, so it helped me feel a little less 'lost' and alone in the beginning :)

Hi! I was in Korea for the last two weeks of July ☀ It was indeed really warm and humid, but I personally really loved that (coming from Scandinavia, you might know what I'm talking about)! I think on average it was around 36 degrees. I still went for hikes, though. Just bring a lot of water and sunscreen with you and be mindful. The only think I would consider a bit is the rainy season which starts around mid June and ends around mid July - I had no idea and was pretty lucky to avoid it, a couple of weeks prior there had been some trouble with floods apparently. So just something to keep in mind, maybe start of June is somewhat more safe, but I wouldn't know! Also, it's possible there might be some typhoons, a couple of weeks after I left Busan, it actually hit the coast, so was pretty lucky with that as well, the international scouts not so much 😅🌀 But Korea is used to dealing with typhoons so I wouldn't worry too much about it, except that you might have to stay inside your hotel for a day or two if it happens (at worst relocate to another hotel). But you'll know well in advance if one comes and where it's heading. Anyway, I would personally recommend! But I think most people prefer Spring/Autumn time when it's slightly cooler (meaning Scandinavian Summer temperatures).
