Today we go over how to delete the A/C on a 2000 Honda Civic. B16A2.
With almost 400 views, it is a success, I'm doing the same to my 2002 vehicle and wanted to see which camera works best. Thanks for the information.

classic weekend project right. Any secrets on getting trans in/out since you did it a few times now?
The second time went much smoother, I found that giving each side of the trans a few taps with a small piece 2x4 and hammer helped a ton. While slowly giving it taps I also slowly was tightening a few bolts I had got threaded, doing this just sucked the trans in super nicely, versus me trying to get it in all at once the first time around

Hey bro I have a 1997 Honda civic lx with D16Y7 I removed mine but I am curious if I need to get a bracket and a smaller belt for it.

SO will the car run like this??? The belt you cut off doesn't go to anything other than the operation of the AC comp? Is that why it robs power from the motor?
i was wondering the same thing. I took mine to the shop and hey says the belt also controls the power steering. I currently have no A/C unit installed.
No.. ac and ps have their own independent belts.
@@WhereIsRoxannee you can delete the power steering pump and the hole system adding a manual rack and pinion

What size are the bolts holding the compressor in? I’ve tried a 12mm but it slips

R Limon hey there, sorry for the late reply but the A/C system has its own belt, so you don’t need to worry about replacing the belt!

I know on my 01 civic it's the alt and the ac on the same belt. That's literally why I watched the video 😂😔
Good video I have a question tho . Did you go to a shop to get the freion out of the ac or do it yourself? If so how did you do it?

if you arent hvac type 1 certified, you will have to have a shop recover the refridgerant, if you are certified you can simply recover the refridgerant
Epa says you can release any amount of freon in the atmosphere as long as its not intentional;)
