Why do you call your basecamp a turd?
Have you seen the movie RV? They call theirs “The Big Rolling Turd.” We thought it was fitting since we watched it the night before we got ours!
@SilverRollingTurd awesome, I have seen RV but it's been forever. I have a 20x too and love it. I just got 800 wats of solar and a new 24volt AC so I can run my AC as much as I want. It's nice to see other people like the 20x as well

Nice brother! That 1 ton putting in work. Wide load coming through! Stock ram sits at 370 hp and 800 lb torque. Haven’t dyno’d mine since its weight loss surgery but I’m sure the numbers are at least a tad higher. BASECAMP only weighs in at 3,500lbs fully loaded 😂

Have you considered looking at the Ford F150 power boost that has a built-in generator? It makes it nice cause you can boondock for 4-5 days easy.
I actually have read a bit about that particular truck. It’s pretty neat. At this point now that I’ve driven a diesel for a while and experienced torque, I don’t see us going back to a gas burner. Not totally out of the equation though. -Scott

We have our Airstream Basecamp 20X on order (should arrive next month) and next summer we will be selling our home & going FT in the Basecamp! Nice to see another couple doing the same! Enjoy! We are SO excited to get started. Also...we recently added a SmartCap to our Tacoma, so similar to you we'll be able to store quite a few & larger items there, and securely.

Thank you so much! We have enjoyed making these videos. We tow with a 2014 Ram 2500 6.7l diesel and it’s done great so far on this trip! We’ve put approximately 4,000 miles on it so far since we left MS and anticipate another thousand to get back home.
