    A faster and cheaper (time and money) way, especially if you don't have a table saw, is to use PEX mounting clips instead of the 3/4 pvc. The 3/4 pex clips hold 1/2" pvc pipe securely, and they have a counter sunk hole for the screw in the base.

    Is there a video of it in operation? One thing I'm struggling with is getting the water to cascade down hugging the tiles insteady of spouting out. Is there anything that can be done to the spillway to get it to do that?

    • @BlueHouseYellowDoor
      @BlueHouseYellowDoor 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Derek, I would do two things differently: 1- make easy access to the pump incase repair was needed 2- I would have done something differently with the border. I didn’t like the metallic border but am not entirely sure what I would replace it with. Thanks for watching! Chad

    You are quite talented and creative. I had a dream just the other night that I was on the second floor of an old library. The library had a metal window pane divided into several smaller panes. It was the kind of window that is like a cage that sticks out, not aligned with the wall like regular windows. Well, anyhow, I was delighted to see that running along one of the sides of this metal window frame was a type of waterfall or water wall. Is such a thing possible in real life?

      Chad Spain WOW! I liked the sheet metal. It added a special touch. What would you have used if not that? Nothing? Just the black tarp over the back? We’re the sides done in stone as well? Sorry for all these questions. 🥴

    • @BlueHouseYellowDoor
      @BlueHouseYellowDoor 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@triciamoller8580 Great questions. I guess the reason I didn't love it was that it was slightly crooked and I couldn't fix it once I glued it on. The sides of the wall were covered by the sheet metal and on the back it was just the plywood. I just finished a new water feature and will have a new video up within the next week, I think it's even better!
