    How did you implemented the building selection and street style customization

      The street style - I think it is based on the material application. Here I am using the Universal Render Pipeline or it can be changed to HDRP. The building selection is based on some of the examples and specific setup in the example files provided with the Mapbox - look at the game object modifiers. On of them changes the colour of the rooftops and creates a label with appropriate linked dataset. ExploreCountryLabelPrefabModifier If I remember correctly. docs.mapbox.com/unity/maps/examples/data-explorer/ - look at the last section.

      This was an earlier version of the toolbox. The later versions of the tool Fitness function ("Fi") is no longer valid, as any constraints are defined in the general urban synthesis (all other generative components with precisely defined parameters).

      Perhaps the Gumball in Rhino is not active? The point is defined as an input directly in the Point container. Not really sure what you meant, if this is not the case.

      Hey Joe, thanks. In fact I am using Universal Render Pipeline which allows using post-processing of the rendered scene. I found a tutorial online how to make Mapbox SDK working under URP.

      If the original source of information (in this case Open Street Map data) does not contain information about the building height, it is not possible through the Elk. The original source needs to be fed with this missing information.

    Hello! This plugin in amazing but i have a hard time understanding how to use. Could you tell me how do you create the secondary streets so that their width can be adjusted separately? Can i use the slicing tree again after first division?

      Thanks Constantine, this definition is a bit specific as it combines custom division together with slicing tree approach. And yes, in principal, you can use "nested" slicing tree, meaning nested parcel component. Check the related paper via DecodingSpaces Toolbox webpage.

The simplified version of the Grasshopper definition can be found here: drive.google.com/file/d/1XNwnE53IhMQmXYqwjy3klS_j9cp1VIDC/view?usp=sharing However, it is a definition for the plots generation only as the definition would be too complex. The building placement can be achieved using the standard object distribution strategy based on morphing of the object within the bounding box. I believe you can found many tutorials of this strategy online.

      Yanfeng Liu, thanks for your question. It is a bit customised definition, in principle you can combine together DecodingSpaces toolbox and standard division approach using GH components - if you need very precise dimensions of plots.

      The main theoretical ideas are explained in this paper: papers.cumincad.org/data/works/att/caadria2017_057.pdf. For the grid definition, you can use either DecodingSpaces Toolbox or standard surface division strategies. Here, I am experimenting with some repulsing or attraction forces as well, which influence the position of the networking lines.
