Great video - thanks. Sadly it looks like the G-Ads UI has changed (again) and it looks different than what you are showing. I no longer see the Target radio button choices. Of course I could be in the wrong part of the UI. Take care, Dave

Hi Nicole, I have an issue with my images. There are 2 ad groups within the same campaign advertising heat pumps. I've uploaded images for the Panasonic heat pump ad under the panasonic ad group, then I uploaded different images to the second, Daikin ad (under the daikin ad set) as well. When I did that the images for the Panasonic ad chaged to daikin images. I removed the images from both of the ads. I uploaded them (campaigns/assets/asstes) and assaigned to the ad group level so I could separate the daikin and panasonic images here. My question is if you know this is the only way around the issue? I have seen on reddit the same problem but not sure if this way my images will show up for my search campaigns. Thanks :)

So I am a medium size business that spends $2.5 million a year with Google. Or, actually, Used to spend $2.5 million a year. After this changed, which I am completely pissed off about the number is going to go down by at least 50%. Whoever is the genius of Google, who thought of this was a good idea, should be fired immediately.big, smart and powerful corporation like Google should never, ever be so shortsighted. I am appalled and befuddled at the same time.

⚠️ this might not be GDPR compliant Thank you for your explanation, Greg. This information will be helpful to many marketers. However, as much as you're the "Greg of the Year" when it comes to loving Google 😂, there's a very important issue here regarding GDPR. The problem is that you still need user consent*. Here’s why: when you're sharing that ID with Google, even through a third-party service, you’re essentially identifying to Google that user Greg (if there’s a matched email or phone number, Google can recognize the user) visited website X. This allows Google to identify the user. As a result, the company-Cypress North, in your example-would be sharing private information with a third party (Google, in this case), which means explicit consent is required to share that information. *You wouldn’t need consent if the information falls under the "legitimate interest" basis in a GDPR context. Sorry for the poor English-I'm writing this on a train, and English isn't my first language. I hope this helps make the information clearer.

exclude google apps as a placement, 99% is garbage.
Hi. Thank you for the video. Having the placement list only as a report now means I would have taken a lot longer to find it, since it's not as intuitive as it used to be.
On the topic of creative asset performance (headlines vs. description lines with conversion data): is it even possible to draw a conclusion from an asset driving 6 conversions over...what time period again? The 6 vs. 0 conversion volume could just as easily be noise.
Stats were kind of hidden on that example. Prob not enough time to make decisions, but wanted to share because blindly going in and listening to ad recos is a bad idea!

Thank you!! The one thing I miss/had to figure out was clicking Search after pasting the list of countries, then clicking Exclude All, then Save. That wasn't immediately intuitive.
