How did they hold up? I'm in Utah and shovelers are around all season.

@@jacobfarley824 they are especially good for that maybe even as a confidence decoys, I usually run 2 dozen mallards 6 wigeon and 6 pintails then a few coots and shovelers! And ofc divers when I am around em
@@nwesternoutdoors3830 start season after the big opener I use 12 mallards, 6 pintail, 6 gadwall, 6 bluewing, 6 greenwing, and 6 coots.
@nwesternoutdoors3830 this year I'm gonna add 6 cinnamon and 6 shovelers....as the season goes on I take out less

Have not tried them, since they are made of tin, I suspect zero expansion? Don't they just zip right through game? I think they would be a good choice for medium lowered powered airguns on larger airgun game with thick skulls.
Good question, maybe I should release another video about penetration vs expansion on tin, I’ve been using .177 H&N green pellets for duck hunting and have had great success
Muller choke is better than my kicks
Plan on making a part two including muller passing choke, factory choke and some other brands I’ve heard about
Shooting beyond 40 yards, or even 30 yards with #4 steel is sketchy. I wouldn't shoot at anything beyond 40 -50 yards with any size of steel. Just doesn't have the knock down power.

Hate to say it but your test won’t be accurate different guns patter different with different brands of shells your sx3 might not like Kent’s but your nova does
It’s a baseline test, not everyone’s going to be shooting the same guns as me or shells

@@nwesternoutdoors3830: Maybe you should do a video of that subject rather than just showing a "short" killing a bird for, what a lot of people might interpret as is personal enjoyment. Since "shorts" generally don't have any information in the description, it may be a good idea to include that information in the description. Without that information, it appears you killed a bird for the enjoyment of killing a bird who is just trying to survive like any other animal. This is why I really hate these "shorts" , they don't ever tell the whole story. How bad can sparrows really be? They're not exactly on the same level as rats that cause more serious destruction.
