Yeah it was made in the 70s when nothing had autofocus haha! It really just comes down to practice, I've used manual lenses for about 7/8 years. Using them has definitely made me appreciate autofocus a lot more. For this style of work it doesn't matter too much if the subject (model) drifts in and out of focus as it really just adds to the 'dreaminess' / mood of the film

@Raeburn Films Question.. how about using a ND filter? Have you used one with it and if so what size?

@@geothearchitect So the filter size is 49mm (I think) - I use a step up ring to suit the smallest ND filter I have which is 67mm, this means I don't need to buy a separate one specifically for it, though you can buy any size step up ring to suit any size of ND. Hope this helps!

Converted to 25fps - to maintain PAL. 120fps / 24fps would be NTSC@@homecomingtoself

The lens is doing all the work - it flares really nicely although sometimes too much!

Very usable, this was all 1.2. It takes some getting used to if you're not familiar with shallow DoF manual lenses but it has a really nice focus throw

Yeah this was shot in s-log 3 and s-cinetone. I grade myself and rarely use luts, occasionally use premiere's built in looks with my own tweaks

As long as you had it set to record 10 bit even with PP off it should still be 10 bit, I usually record either s-log 2 or 3 or s-cinetone in PP7 or 11

​@@raeburnfilms Really? I searched on Reddit and apparently with pp off, it has captured a rec702 video right? I don’t think think you actually have HDR information in the file. Even if you add metadata if won’t really be HDR?
