This is very interesting. I have never seen art like this and I wondered what brushes were being used? Do you make them yourself. It is not clear to me. I have not seen such graduations before like that. very beautiful to see anyway, and a pleasant part of my education. Best wishes. distant dragon
The "brush" used here is a piece of felt, or it could be cosmetic sponge. Defferent artist use different tools. I have over two hundred brushes my self to play with.
A Malay freind of mine says he uses stone brushes but I swear the brush tip bends when he applies the color. I think the brush tips are probably bamboo stalk which is the softer part of the bamboo stick. It would make sense since it is like foam and should hold ink better than rock. Jus my opinion but not sure since i am not Asian and he is. So he might be right.
