Selection and scaling of Ground motion from PEER NGA Database for Response history analysis. This needs a target spectra for scaling the ground motions. Target spectra may be UHS, CMS, Code specifed target spectra or GMPEs.

Consider a four-storey reinforced concrete office building shown in Fig. 1.1. The building is located in Shillong (seismic zone V). The soil conditions are medium stiff and the entire building is supported on a raft foundation. The R. C. frames are infilled with brick-masonry. The lumped weight due to dead loads is 12 kN/m2 on floors and 10 kN/m2 on the roof. The floors are to cater for a live load of 4 kN/m2 on floors and 1.5 kN/m2 on the roof. Hello sir, Im using SAP2000 for structural analysis. In response spectrum case, stress values on shell elements are seen as 0. When I define static seismic case with the values that produces same base shear, static case gives stress on shell elements but response spectrum case still not. How can I fix that? Is there any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
How to scale the time acceleration data like 0.1g, 0.2g..
There are many proposed ground motion scaling schemes. The most basic one is amplitude scaling. You can scale your ground motion by a factor to get the desired PGA.

Respecetd Sir, As we know that, the vertical response spectra is not given in the IS 1893:2016 Part-1 and the code suggested that vertical ground motion should be considered ad 2/3 of horizontal ground motion. 1) So, can we scaled down vertical ground motion time history as 2/3 of horizontal response spectra? OR 2) Can we scaled down vertical ground motion time history as only horizontal response spectra? Out of two which option should be selected?
Sir, does the RSN1 means the acceleration in the first row?..pls reply
PEER contains 20k+ ground motions. RSN means record sequence number which is assigned to each record.

There are 5 data in a row of acceleration time history how could we plot this on excel file
It might be difficult to put it in a column in excel. You can use matlab for the same. A small command can work.
