All-Might vs Spider man sparring - Jiu Jitsu
Good discipline for kids. Keep them healthy and active.
Kids just join wrestling for good foundation! Way cheaper than any martial arts studio but hey do both if you can. Know that a lot of juijitsu/ catch style is taught in wrestling room, it's just not used because most of it is illegal in the sport.
Nice work but please get them to stop landing on their hands 😅
Yeap I just put both my boys in BBJ and M Thai kickboxing my only regret is I didn’t do it sooner even if they don’t like it right away they’ll learn to like it. It’ll give them confidence and discipline and the knowledge to protect themselves in the situations that you have no choice in not to mention it’ll keep them in phenomenal shape
46 years old first roll this week jammed my neck up doing tumbles during warm up, had a blast rolling loved the intensity but honestly as a sole provider for my family I can’t see it working out and I have a two year background in CrossFit and I still think the risk is too high, it’s hard to set the desire and ego aside and take a real risk reward inventory but I believe you have to especially if you already have had injuries from other spurts or just age. I’ll be looking for a good self defense course and a new edc edge weapon instead!
Wow, so many great details and techniques that you've pointed out here. Wish I found this a year ago. This video is criminally underviewed! Cheers for sharing.
I was like that the first time a purple belt got a hold of me 😂
Hahah it be like that sometimes.
Its called striking
yo mama so fat take a picture of her and ur phone will way 2000 pounds
Hahah yo dog is fat.
9mm 40s&w 45acp 10mm 5.7 FN should I keep going ?
Black belts have guns, too. What are you gonna do if you got a Bjj Black belt holding you at gun point? Wrestle for the gun lmao.
Imagine being in places u cant bring a weapon to like school or a stadium or an airport And imagine grabbing into ur pocket So if u rlly care about self defense then ure far off the truth rn And joes point still stands ure absolutely useless even against a blue belt and thats fine but thats one of the many reasons as to why your gun argument is absolutely copium and I hope you’ll stop commenting this kind of stuff but instead maybe even learn from these clips Ive already pulled off a move twice off of this guy and I feel great I dont have to risk having a gun bc people can reach for it or things can happen other ppl can see the gun and shoot u out of fear and whatnot I am free without a gun and I feel pretty safe knowing if it came down to most scenarios Id do pretty well Also ur gun in crowd is gonna be a real pain when people see a weapon theyll give you an extra beating if u even think abt being confident about a fight just bc u got a gun U may shoot one or two people (and youll Never forget it and regret it sooner or later unless ure lying to urself) but in a crowd ure absolutely done for sure just another very common scenario ur gun gets u either killed or srsly beat up
heaven sent 🙏🏼
say hello for me while you up there
@@derechte6086way too many hypotheticals. Be aware of your surroundings. Keep distance between you and an aggressor. Run rather than fight. Shoot when threatened. I carry my gun anywhere LOL if you can’t see it you can’t take it.
Im sorry but no way im hell ima be that close to another mans butt and pay for it lmfaooo ill just swing and get it over with

Great subtle details! Going to try to use the pop bridge.
Damn this dude has a huge head!😮
Appreciate it! Thanks 😂
As a more experienced grappler, I often wonder what new grapplers think when I just control them and don't try to submit them 5 to 10 times in a five minute roll. I've had discussions where people think I am creating bad habits when I catch and release or don't fish for subs when they are there. However, I think it keeps the new guys interested even if they have a false belief that they performed better than they really did.
I like the grappling dummy as well. I have used many over the years. I just recently graduated to using the VeJay grappling dummy that can lay supine with arms and legs remaining in the air with knees and elbows touching. It also can sit upright in butterfly guard, can sit in turtle and you can put in full guard, half guard, etc. - Great video...
Nice!
It's the year 2023... Just saw this for the first time. A really unique way of opening the closed guard never seen this before in all my years in jujitsu. Ive always wondered what do U do if the opponent crosses his ankle left over right. If they cross right over left that's ok bit easier to thread your arm in an pull it upwards Marcelo Garcia style...but what happens if they cross the other way? A very good solution! I'm looking to trying this out at next training. Thanks man!
That’s a really interesting perspective about which leg is on top and what would be the most appropriate thing to do in each situation. For me it never really mattered what leg they put on top, it worked for both leg positions. I started doing it this way so that I never had to deal with them grabbing my legs and trying to enter into leg locks or try to knock me over with lumberjack sweeps or tripod sweeps. Most students, especially that are newer I definitely would not recommend this is way of breaking the closed guard. With that being said if they adhere to the principles laid out in the video they should be golden. I have a blue belt that I taught this style to and I seriously cannot keep him in the closed guard without him breaking open my guard super quick and easy. So I have to control his posture literally the whole time or else he’s out in less than 2 seconds. Hope this helps, enjoy!
@@doublephoenixjiujitsu Grabbing the ankle n leveraging the lock open was what I took from your demonstration . Ive already tried it out and it works! Really strong break hard for them to keep it locked. I agree with you as well on passing low as opposed to passing standing less energy used I feel, standing when already tired n you not in the best cardio shape can be tiresome n hard sometimes. And no leglocks for them! We the ones that control the leglocks exchange...soon as those legs open they're available :) Anyways thanks again. Anyways thanks again
I doing this with you
Why am I the only one that comments, by the way my cat is with me right now but he is not paying attention
