@@BTR2018 no problem. Bees can be super picky about moving up especially if there isn’t a flow on. Feed 1:1 sugar syrup when you do. Not sure where you are but I won’t really have any honey flow for the rest of the year. I overwinter my colonies in single deeps. Might give it a shot if they have a full deep.

I am in South Carolina. I went out there yesterday and they are bringing in pollen

@@BTR2018 that’s good. Definitely pull the brood frame up and feed heavily with 1:1. If they don’t get the second box filled just pick the best 10 frames and overwinter as a single. Canadians do it all the time so IK you will be fine. Good luck

Could be a wore out jug. To do it properly you need to have the jug measured out and make sure the piston ring has the perfect gap or else you’ll be losing a lot of compression. That compression reading of 60 is really low.

@@BTR2018 This jug was a Niche branded one of sorts and just put on initially in January this year. I had it honed again after taking it apart and asked the guy who did it if was still in spec on bore. He said yes. Anyways, what can I do measure it to the best of my ability. I have the manual to refer to but I only have digital caliper and feeler gauge at my disposal.

@@kyleknoll1988 you need telescope, gauges, and then you can use the calipers to measure the telescope gauge to make sure this will get you in a ballpark

Yes, that is exactly correct I drained all the fuel and oil and replaced fuel lines and oil feed lines, but kept the original spark plug and put a new battery and let my daughter start it for the first time. It’s amazing. This thing is so clean. The guy I bought it from only rode it a few times since new.

First off I would take the carb and take it apart and make sure it 100% clean also is it a bn or a sbn carb? BN carbs you want to go very lean on the high jet, but you really wanna take it to a lake tie it down to a tree and just rev it out and adjust accordingly.

It’s a bn just rebuilt it seems to be revving pretty high at start up and when you give it gas is Boggs

Also did you change the jet from the 34 to 38?

Well, the hard part is the owner doesn’t know if it runs or not so if you were to find out if it runs or not you would need to grab a battery jumper and a compression tester, after all that check for spark, and if there is I would put some two-stroke mix in the cylinder, and try to fire it up. good luck
