Picturesque Canyon, Untamed River – Cascade Canyon Trail | Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
This beautiful canyon just beyond Jenny Lake is lined with stunning peaks. Along the trail is a wild river with sections of calm and shallow pools, and glacier fed waterfalls cascading down the steep hillside. Wildlife is regularly seen along the river. At the end of the Cascade Canyon Trail is an impressive waterfall roaring down into the river.

Hiking the Decalibron was not easy, but starting at 4:45am was no fun either. We started early to avoid any mountain weather situations. Was it worth it? Definitely! Along the 3-mile Firehole Lake Drive in Yellowstone National Park, one’ll find fascinating thermal features. It’s extra special when no one else is there! When I was there, the road was closed to traffic due to road damage. But hikers and cyclists were still allowed. I was the only person exploring the area by foot. What I saw was amazing! @@Leonardo-r66 Yes, it's named that because of the difficult terrain and harsh environment of the area.
Grand Teton is known for its wildlife . Did you ran into any? It’s not too far from Yellowstone but the terrain is drastically different.

Sublime. I love Boulder in the winter bc there's usually enough snow to make it beautiful, but not so much that the trails are impassable.
