She actually did it. This was posted on her twitter and I took a quick screen recording. Twilight's singing voice is usually provided by Rebecca Soichet (VA of Sunset Shimmer) but Tara is her regular VA.

I DON'T OWN THE SONG, COVER, OR ART. I forgot I had this downloaded. This cover was created by a TH-cam user named Lucifer. Originally, the cover was sung by Gakupo but Lucifer had a download link in the description where Luka instead sings it. The original cover is now privated for some reason but I was able to save this. Enjoy.

It’s a beautiful little animatic. I wish more people would see this or maybe Zone could at least finish this. I find it poetic and oddly beautiful to think that the person who made that infamous porn video (which was, funny enough, also the most viral Teenage Robot video) would also make this. And in the tweet itself, Zone even apologizes to one of the creators of the show even. All in all, there’s just something so perfect to it and such a nice little conclusion and honestly I think it’s perfect how this all went.
Now we just need j.g or an ai mordecai to sing the rest
