Have y'all had time to figure out a set of springs for the General XP's? Had a set of RT Pro's on my S 1000 with no sway bar and it was perfect for mid east riding. Much more appealing than the one's at ST as well.... 😜

I have the same (22 model) except mine didn’t come with the rack which is odd. The rack looks legit.

You could add that the new tie rod is a heim joint, not a ball joint. Great articulation but more susceptible to grit and grime.
We will keep this in mind for some videos we are releasing. Details are important.

Good looking rig, but the Yamaha RMAX-4 1000 XTR out performs this in every way.
I’d get the Rmax but the accessories, storage and comfort make me go for the general. I’m just a hunter, explore kind of guy and take care of my machines so I’ll take my chances on reliability.

Is this bumper compatible with the Polaris plow mount?
I run this exact bumper on my 2019 900s and can tell you this has saved my machine many times from serious damage. Most recently i came off a jump and landed straight up and down on this bumper. Only a slight amount of buckling happened to bumper but saved front of machine.

Replaced my stock springs on my Can am Commander with a RT Pro Spring set, amazing difference. Money well spent.

Donn Burge Me too I have called and requested a pic of the whole rear shock with the heavy duty springs. They said look at there Facebook page but I still haven’t found a pic showing the whole rear shock. I want a tall tender and all my ride height back. Maybe a little bit more ride height than factory. I like these springs have no crossover ring to adjust. My buddy got the Shock Therapy, his shit looks good as hell. Tender spring is about 2 inches from top of threads on shocks after preload. Man his rzr is setting tall. Nothing against RT Pro. I want to give these a shot but they need to show me a better view of those rear tenders.

Love that machine. Thinking about purchasing the RT spring replacement for a 17 XP 1000. Wish you could do video on the springs. Showing how to set them up and how much lift and ride height the new springs provide.
We are working on that video currently, it may be a few more days but stay tuned!

Just seems kinda useless without showing the performance of the original spring on the same traveled path at the same pace. Also would be handy to know what shock is and tire size (if its OEM) in use with the springs.
No offense, but I don't really see how this is an expedition build. The machine is plenty capable and durable out of the box. What it needs is more storage for camping gear, food, water, and supplies. Lighting, spare tires, extra fuel, CB radio, basically things that make extended stays in the wilderness possible. Also maybe some stiffer springs and clutch work to account for the extra weight.
If you watch to the end you will see the additional rack we added which holds fuel, spare tire and additional gear. You will also see us talk about the different springs we added to hold up the additional weight. Thanks for the input.
@@RacerTechTV But, you spent more time on the wheels and tires than storage and fuel packs, etc.... That's the engineering aspect I think was Holden's comment . Nice build though.
