Working the turns and swell, on the foil!
มุมมอง 1543 หลายเดือนก่อน
Riding regular this time. I focused on getting more aggressive on turns and working the swells. I wanted to stay on foil as much as possible, but that was secondary to the turns. I rode for longer than the video, I don't remember how much longer, but a controlled stop.
Getting steady on the wake foil!!
มุมมอง 2703 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is my 9th time on the wake foil, since 1019 and 3rd in 2024. Explored pumping, more for practice than locomotion. I did us it to prevent a full drop down. My regular riding is a little better, but I'm getting better every time out. At 1:13 the front wing just comes out of the water and I was able to recover!! Only to almost breach again at 1:18!!! If you pause just before those times and a...

Rick's 59 Park Tricks for 59 Years at Northstar California
มุมมอง 1992 ปีที่แล้ว
For those not familiar with park tricks, even though the movement is the same, different features change the difficulty and therefore it is a different trick. That is why some look the same, but are counted as different tricks. I did put a description for each clip. I think I got most of them right..... I welcome any questions on any of the tricks. Post your question, with the time stamp and I’...
My safe space!
มุมมอง 483 ปีที่แล้ว
I finally made some headway on my kitchen. The countertops need to be installed. I’m thinking a 1’x 2’ Carrara tile and a glass tile backsplash. A couple other minor details and done! There is a warm spot light, over the peninsula, so I don’t have to eat, with the bright and cool main light. I hope you all enjoy it as I do!

This is my switch direction, rope free. A good save and working the wave. My boat is a 2016 Moomba Helix, with the surf package. Well built, easy to drive, a great wake and wave.

A great big thanks to Aidan, for taking the time to shoot the video and then ALL the time to edit it! We had a super long day with a huge amount of riding and tons of smiles. Come along for the ride. The camera got drenched, before I have much ride time, so only a couple shots of me, no, that isn’t me falling! My boat is a 2016 Moomba Helix, with the surf package. Well built, easy to drive, a g...
Using cocooning to combat a fever

This video offers a way to combat a fever before it becomes something more serious. I suggest that it can be a preliminary home treatment, before going to a hospital, for the current flu. Stay healthy!

This is the first time I've heard of cocooning. As an "experienced patient" 😁you did a great job explaining why it might work. I'll look it up on my own before deciding what I think, but I appreciate your clear explanation and your willingness to expose yourself to some negative comments. I might be wrong (I really should get my data in order before I say this) but I think many people dismiss "natural solutions" and think less of those who talk about such solutions. I believe natural solutions can be an important part of personal health, especially when combined with modern medicine. You gave me the courage to talk about my own natural "trick" that I feel helped me with this virus: salt gargle. I don't know for sure that I had the virus, but a couple of months ago I had a bad cough and, after a week of dealing with it, I woke up one morning gasping for air. It was scary. When I got out of bed the breathing got better but I was scared enough to think I had to go to the hospital. I decided to do the salt gargle first (a remedy I had learned as a little girl in my home country, Romania) and, after half a day of hourly gargles, I felt in control of my breathing. It took more than a week of gargles (three times a day) for the cough to go away, but I never came even close to losing my breath again. Thank you again for sharing your story. I hope your health stays good and your business recovers. ❤️

That's dumb and running bog tiles through the saw will hit that water flap and push that thing off or stop/prevent you from cutting the full length of the tile

    • @ITeachRick
      @ITeachRick 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@Dong King I assume you mean long not “bog” tiles. The saw doesn’t have a water flap installed, and if it did, it still wouldn’t interfere with cutting tiles all the way through. Almost all new tile saw come with some sort of water flap. This isn’t intended to be an answer to all tiling setting situationB. It works for tile 13” and smaller, which can be cut all the way through, in a single pass. I have been using it for decades and it has allowed me to work inside, and when the space is available, the saw can be in the same room. This saves travel and clean up time and I can produce a more accurate fit, since the saw I very close to the installation location. If you feel that is dumb, keep on going out side to make your cuts. Cheers.

I'm sorry to saw, it is very saw specific. I did make a prototype for the 370, but MK didn’t express enough interest.
