Are you dashing on Wyrdeer? It actually furthers your jump range by dashing, and you also need to jump at the last second to guarantee you make it across

@@dln_b ..It's this video lol. I did this again as an example for someone after I already got Basculegion, but you just jump over with Wyrdeer, and you should land close to the bank, and you can swim over to it and get up it.

Wyrdeer's legs actually get muddy after travelling through the bog water! I was running around before someone asked me to show this and he didn't have time to clean himself up for the camera :)

okay i desperately need to reach over there bc i'm in the mirelands for the first time and from across the river i see shiny sparkles in the distance. please give me step by step exactly where to jump from bc i have the general area but which mud pond which jump etc please and thank you.
You go to the specific area marked at the end of the video. You need to jump off the cliff to the muddy beach area (mark on the map). Your character will land in the water, and you just swim to shore.
Can you do this without basculine?
Yes! You can do this as soon as you get the second area. I just have Basculegion and it automatically selected him when I touched water. I got my Goomy before I got Basculegion :)
