Awwww....thank you my sweet friend. I'll let her know. Oh...the locker pins are sometimes used as laundry pins too. Used in gyms, hotels, etc. Yes...God hears our prayers....He loves us so much. Sending you much love and tons of hugs!!
This here...right up my street!!!! I LOVE it! This is absolutely gorgeous!!!! Your miracle is so inspiring. I am thankful every day for our Father!!! I don't know how people function without Him. Fun fact...pure lavender, I prefer Doterra, will heal a burn. Get it on there quickly, leave it, reapply it, it's as if it never happened. Sunburns too!

Thank you, I started using duct tape when I was new. But, after watching videos I stopped because I thought it was wrong. Thank you for showing me it was goood to use because I really liked it and agree that it is super strong!
I'm like you....I used other things too. The other things work fine....but the duct tape is SOOOO easy and it's the strongest I've tried yet. The only thing I came across with duct tape...is you have to sand it/scuff it to get anything to stick to it. I'm glad this was helpful!

This is very similar to what I did on the puppy one I'm working on. But I didn't scuff and I think it's trying yo pull away. Nein! I will not let it. Lol. Such a cool idea, to make covers!!!!
Thank you Peg! After trying so many different methods for the spines....I wanted something strong and easy....LOL Duct tape was the answer. I can put journals together in no time. Love it! Yes, scuffing on duct tape is a must. Ask me how I know...LOL

I was going to ask if you have ever tried using sticky back drywall tape for the spine? Did you mod-podge the girl on the text background too?
I didn't mod podge the girl....after the cover cured for 48 hours...I then just started decorating it. I just finished the cover today...I added more. I'm having a lot of fun playing with this one. I'm just taking my time and enjoying the hobby.

Pammy!!!!!! So good to see you on TH-cam....how is the weather?? Oh...we had so much fun. Cedar Hill State Park is prettier than I thought it would be. No comparison to the Hill Country for sure....but it was only a 45 minute drive from our house...a nice day trip. I hope all is going well over there! @JimmyandTammy I just pop in now and then. We cleaned the carpets and are painting. Then, my craft room can be set up and hopefully get back on TH-cam again! We love our house and neighborhood! Perfect!🥰 Hugs!

It's really hard to imagine that much water in dry old Texas. smile! Was that a Civil War reenactment or just the cavalry that comes over the hill in the nick of time? We were in Tahlequah, OKlahoma recently for a family reunion. It was beautiful weather while we were down there.
Oh the weather has been gorgeous here for the last week. LOL...Texas has about 200 man made lakes. We've got tons of water...LOL I'm not sure what that was to be honest....LOL They were having a "Fall Festival" and looked like the North invaded Texas....LOL We had so much fun.

Thank u so much. Memories r coming at me left & right. Some of the grandparents of my friends had farms like this growing up. That smokehouse was the real deal. And the spinners sitting' on the porch. The Allas Chalmers tractors. We would climb on them & pretend to drive them. Going down to the pond or creek & watchin' the minnows swim around for hours....giggling the whole time. Talk about time travel. That's what y'all did. Thank u for some wonderful memories. My undying love to all 3 of u. 😘😘😘

Holy guacamole!!!!!! What a fantastic gift! It's as if she can actually see into ur brain. This is Christmas crafting for weeks on end. Out of all this joyfullness my fave is the bead stitch kits. Those r to die for. I have a couple of them. They r very tedious, but the results r pure beauty. And I just love when u get so emotional. Ur heart & love shines clear & bright. LOL...thank you! I've never made journals so far in advance....but....I'm so glad I did. Our holidays this year is going to be busy...so I can't spend time doing that instead of journals. Yay!!!

These are so so cute!!!! I wanted to give you a tip....with Fabri-Tac you can run your finger or a silicone brush or spatula over it, then put your ribbon or fabric down. It will still stick and will not seep through. Not my idea, I saw it on someone else's channel, but it works. I love this idea of making them look like books, fabulous! Also, it would be fun to make them into little books to go in a pocket. I don't do Halloween either. It's everywhere right now, but I look away.

Good Morning Tammy. Oh my goodness this journal is amazing! I just finished an Autumn journal, and I working on craftoween. Which has been fun. The glue sticking to other pages is a nightmare. LOL I just had that happen. I even waited to close the journal until it dried, and well, apparently is was not dry enough. Luckily I was able to fix what happened. I love the idea of making those journal cards look like a book, so creative. I never thought to do that. A lot of times with Fabri-tac you can spread the glue out with your finger and it helps stop the glue bleed. Love what you are doing with the journal. It is awesome! Have a blessed day!
