This cave can be sumped seasonally and risks of flash floods cuts off most of the cave. If you can make it through the water it leads to mountain sized rooms and formations.

I went into this cave system many years ago with a group of friends. We were severely underprepared, but had a great time. It's a fascinating place.
It's an awesome cave for sure! We've been there 6 times now and have probably only seen 1/4 of the cave.
what did the wall say ? rub some dirt on the wall maybe ? Everyone's back yard has history....it's below your feet. could be 20ft, 80ft, or 100 feet down though.
There was a lot of signatures, with some being from the 1930s.
It's been fifty years since I did that. From Hartwell.

Thank you! And I love figure 8s! Lately though, I've been sticking to the rack just to get practice for when we eventually start doing vertical caving. I definitely gotta work on my ascending form as well lol.

23:52 yall seem like you are up too high, tie a rope to the rock wedged in that gap and then drop down while hanging onto the rope into the 30 foot chimney climb with your back on one wall and feet on the other

We are in North Georgia, we mostly only run in to bats and salamanders. But we always knock first before going in just in case lol
