Spiritual Formation: Friendship with Christ
its like studying for a phd, from candidate to Dr.
Hi there. I was on the Come and See a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the fellowship and guidance from all of the seminarians and priests.
"Hidden " says it all! Why the word "hidden" has such currency in the Catholic Church. Jesus was the Savior of the world! He was in the world and reached out to the world! Why run from the world to become a priest???
Commitment to Excellence!
I knew Bishop Flores when he was a seminarian so many years ago. Even then he was a great student of Thomas and a most gracious and holy young man. Discussions in the Beverage Room at the time were always enjoyable, sometimes light hearted, but always erudite and enlightening.
Can’t get out of bed in the morning? Can’t stay off their phone for an hour? Haven’t showered in a week? Really? There are so many women who would make excellent priests….but can’t…..but guys who are clearly not ready for adulthood can????
then why did Jesus pick only men?
Who's paying for all this crap?
shut up
Amen
Thank you Diego. Beautiful reflection. Let’s God be the God of our life 🙏🏼
God bless these young men! You all are wonderful examples for all of us...
Sean, thank you for this thoughtful commentary. I plan to take forward the idea that God is rich in mercy, and that God has given this gift to all of us through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. I especially take note of the phrase that our failures are not a hindrance to God's mercy, but that His Grace is a gift.
GARY!!
The music is annoying and makes it hard to hear the speaker
Thank you, Basil, for that beautiful reflection!
This isn’t a truly Catholic seminary
It is.
seminarians in real Catholic seminaries wear cassocks
@@IvanIvanov-wc9jq are we talking about Diocesan seminaries or another order? And they do wear cassocks during Mass, community Holy Hours and adoration.
Father you’re so handsome!
I would really want to know what the seminarians do on a regular day. Do they go to daily mass, pray together the liturgy of the hours, rosary with the professor priests, manual labor, recreation, etc? Thank you.
These practices are not scriptual.
Take a look and reread the book of Leviticus.
Pray That I Will Pray The Rosary The Divine Mercy Prayer To St Michael Poor Souls In Purgatory Memorare To St Joseph That Blessings Will Come Upon My Property Belongings Life Health
You are all so sadly DELUDED. There is no mention of a New Testament, sacerdotal priesthood in the Bible, period, case closed! What wasted lives!
Beautiful. Praying for our Seminarians. Domine, quo vadis?
¡Viva Cristo Rey!
Great video! Love the emphasis on physical well-being!
God bless your vocation
Am a Trinitario in Madrid...i love it
So beautiful. Thanks be to God!
I think the Beatitudes describe fairly well what kind of people Christ wants to form within his church. +---------+---------+ 🌹“Pray the Rosary every day, in order to obtain Peace in the world..…” ~Our Lady’s Words at Fatima May 13th, 1917🌹 God Bless! +---------+---------+
WOWwwwwwww.. 👍
GOD bless you Pedro, not for only saying Yes to our Lord but also being an example at this time to this youngest generation making positive decisions allowing the Love of Jesus enter the heart and to accept our Lord in their life's too, showing it was possible before, after and now and accepting his sacrifice as the act of his greatest love for us. Let our Father, Son and Holy Spirit fulfill your Soul the rest of your life always.. AMEN
Tks Pedro, God Bless you "
Thank you, Pedro, for saying yes to the Lord and being an example of light and hope in our times. 🙏🙏🙏 Jesus we trust in you 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for that beautiful reflection!!! Happy Sunday!!!
Beautiful !!! Our wounds are always another reason to get closer to Jesus mercy, to get closed to HIS wounds. Thank you and God bless you 🙏🏼
God richly bless you
Thank you for the reflection. God bless you 🙏 “God wants it more that you do.” ❤️
A beautiful reminder of our focus for Lent, and always.

Well at least this lot aren't as pretentious as some young ordinands, who seem to think it's all about themselves rather than Jesus
Lovely to see young priests devoted. Just as long as these are men that understand what they are doing, the challenge they will put on themselves and this is what they want.
Que lindo! La Virgencita de Guadalupe. Que los bendiga mucho
Thank you very well put, God Bless all of you as we keep you all in prayer…
Thank you for this excellent presentation. Well done to all who participated. May God bless you all!
