Loved watching this! So excited to see what's to come 🙌🏻
I’ve had my work displayed in NY, Korea on websites & Miami. So many great opportunities on hug!
I love hug 🥰
Awesome 🎉
If you already have a domain using GoDaddy how does this .art integrate?
Very nice!
There were a lot of women in the impressionism movement when I think about it. I could probably think of 4 from memory, which is more than I can say for most other movements
awesome info!
Can you tell me the name of the book
Hi! The name of the book is "Artful Grieving" by Alicia Seymour
I ❤ Kittizens!!!
Wonderful thank you from Founder Chris MacClure IAD
Where is Hitler?
Fun fact: she was married to Manet’s brother, also an impressionist
Iv never really cared if a male or female made the art, it looks amazing either way in my eyes and i find it interesting there are people who will like things more because a certain gender made it
I wonder where her family line leads to now. Anyone know? Who did her daughter become? Did she have children?
I believe in the healing powers of art! Great video 🎨
Love it! Thanks for watching!
Berthe Morisot was amazing, she isn't shown enough when presenting the basics of impressionism
So many women and their work must be either erazed or stolen by men throughout history. So frustrating.
I wonder if any of her male contemporaries tried passing off some of her work as their own?
146 years later and woman still want the same thing.
It can be a new communication system for youth across america escaping violent situations or confronting abuse with the support of elders elsewhere.
Love this!!
So many women have been done dirty by men in all fields only for men to tell women that the reason men are represented more is cause theyre just "better". What a joke.
Men for SOME reason have VERY selective memory when they hold their "men did and invented/created everything" speech to any woman that doesnt wanna hear it and LOVE using "context" (naturalistic fallacy) to "explain" why women werent as represented but for SOME reason dont like historical context that much 😂 Edit cause i'm a hater and call out BS: that particular clown in the comments trying to fish for likes by accusing the channel of "using a womans achievements" for doing the most basic thing on TH-cam everyone does since the existence of the platform: self promo at the end of a video (which they do for all of their videos) is CRAZY lmao
Manet may have even been pitying her, knowing if she were a man she would get nore recognition. Or he could have just been chauvinistic.
Monet and Morisot were quite close friends, Morisot even married Edouard’s brother. They were both ‘rejected’ from the traditional art world, although for obviously different reasons. From what I’ve seen, Monet was highly supportive of his sister in law, and deeply adored both his own daughter and Berthe’s daughter, his niece. I definitely think that quote should have been taken as him lamenting the fact that she would never be accepted as an artist because of her sex
❤ let’s raise her up, better late than never. Suck it Mânet
Highlighting this woman's art and achievement and then using it for self promotion is crazy
But this is an art channel. It makes sense to make this content and want to keep doing it with some return😊
A channel informing you about something and then doing the most basic thing, self promotion is "crazy"?? Something they also do for all of their content? You CANNOT be for real oh my god LMAO
@@maxcfe1705i could not believe my eyes reading that. Literally made up shit for likes😂
@@ILoveLLawlietxDfr
It’s a fucking TH-cam channel, not a museum
Her art is stunning
Just posted part ii! Head to our page to check it out!
This was awesome!
❤❤❤

Healing power of art!
It's real!
It was my honor to work with these people and learn more about art's healing powers!
Hey Yuna :) When I visited Tate London they had this scheduling system for displaying artworks connected to a specific issue that a National Health Committee (of some kind) had deemed important at the time. When I was there it was Loneliness. So every artwork was displayed for its potential to help with that. I thought it was awesome.
Democratizing art is a wonderful ideal, the problem is how we do it, because if "democratization" means giving it all for free online then artists themselves cannot make a living from it - everyone consumes art without paying the artist. Which in the long run means less democratization, ie. art not being a valid path for a wide variety of people.
Such a pleasure to talk to all these speakers!
