Today we had a solid car. We qualified with a comfortable 5th place start. On lap one the #7 of Ty Carlson got accidently squeezed into the wall by the #6 of Jojo Stearns. Carlson's car went into the pit for repairs and had to start from the rear. So there were in 4th. We kept up with the 04 of Devore and the 9 of Tankersely for a while but decided to save tires since there was no pressure from getting passed by cars from behind. Carlson eventually passed me after working his way through the field. Soon after I was approaching lap traffic. The 07 of Massone had a mechanical issue and attempted to turn into the infield pits at the worst possible time. Massone had no idea he was cutting across my nose when he turned towards the pits and we connected which ended our night due to a damaged radiator. Nobody was hurt today and we will drive on.
