I am in no way a director of photography and a filmmaker. Just an enthusiast (like 99% of self-proclaimed filmmakers on YT).
I do prefer the MFT system because of its versatility, but I don't pledge allegiance to any brand or ecosystem. My only allegiances are my wallet and my fridge. Which is why I don't waste time watching the channels talking about expensive gear and I am constantly looking for cheaper or affordable gear, even junk.
But don't get me wrong: The goal here is not the gear, but the creativity and mastering of the craft.
