Hi Martina. I’m actually measuring correctly. In the video, you see me measure my waist and my midsection, while I simultaneously explain that I did this because I wanted a belt that not only would fit around my waist, but would also be able to fit up higher if need be. The way I measured was accurate and worked perfectly.

@@jasmineberei thanks for replying, however in the video your waist section measurement (33) is bigger than your hip section (30) but from appearance it should definitely be the other way around. It seems you started measuring from 60 - 33 / 60 - 30, instead of starting to measure from 0. Hope it makes sense?

@@martinaschoen4495the 33 around my waist was me seeing how tight the belt could possibly go if I decided to go with the 30 that fit around my hips. I did this with the idea of potentially wearing the belt higher if need be. All in all, the measurement worked out for me & many others. Feel free to measure however you choose.

Arabians Tonka is way too cloying for summer, so no. This video is just me stating that I like pairing it with Vanilla Skin whenever I do wear it. 🙂

Hi there. I actually have a follower of mine who messaged me when I posted my video stating that she follows someone with the real Hermès belt, who said she found herself having to adjust it a few times throughout the day (which made her second guess her purchase). So it looks like the real one might have the same issue, which is unfortunate. For me, however, I personally haven’t experienced this at all with the dupe, but having to readjust often does sound very inconvenient. 🙁

I wish it was made like a normal belt - I would buy the original in a heartbeat. I will look into getting the Hermes Collier De Chien belt instead.

I’ve heard mixed reviews too. I saw some ppl say that if you let it sit (macerate), the perfume gets darker because of the vanilla & it will last longer. My bottle is very light compared to some other bottles I’ve seen. Some people end up with bottles that are already very dark. For right now, mine it doesn’t project that well, but I’m going to see if a difference is made when I let it sit for a while. I’ll keep you posted!

Hi, as far as a thick wallet or thick makeup bag, I always carry my Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch (pm) in my bag which is pretty thick and it fits perfectly. I'm not sure how long your wallet is, so I would refer to the dimensions of this bag to compare to your wallet. I got my YSL Sac De Jour Baby in the grained leather.

This is in the standard grained version, not the newer supple grained version. The newer supple grained comes with the gold lock and a different overall look vs the silver lock, which I have.

I absolutely love Guidance! I would definitely sample La Capitale if you can. I wouldn't consider it a safe blind buy. I got my sample from Twisted Lily. ☺

Very interesting! Would you say the stiffness of the real one is a con? Also, have you had any issues with the belt loosening up on you during the day? I was told that someone who has the real one had issues with that. I haven’t had that problem with this dupe, so I’m curious.
