Sigh. Just as with the BSA Goldstar 650 this is yet another example of an established Asian motorcycle manufacturer buying up the rights to a classic yet retired British name and then sticking said name onto a big single. Without the Matchless name this motorcycle would not sell.
By the look of it this isn't even a single. There is nothing about it that harks back to the AMC singles. If it looks like anything it looks like a Triumph
