You can't throw cremated remains in the river. Warren does not as yet have By-Laws that specify at home burials. Some state laws have changed over the last 20 years in relation to burials.

Within the last 20 minutes, even though I am no longer on the Board of Health, I was willing to back up Daniel concerning past problems. Mr. McKeon, who was elected in my place, sat in the back row and is on the Board of Health.

When you have complainers who just don't want to listen to what you have to say, don't bang your head on the wall because you don't have any aspirin. You need to lay down the law as it is written.

Even when I was on the Board of Health I was fed up with absentee landlords. It is quite obvious that these people need to be hauled into court to wake them up. With the Village Market I was surprised to find out that there was no vent going up through the building for the building sewer system. It seems impossible that since March 2024 the store owner has not complied with the Board of Health as yet. These meeting are well publicized. As for the point of the South Street private wells, since the main water line comes down Crouch Road it should not need a booster pump to go a quarter mile up South Street where there are already fire hydrants.

If I was still on the Board of Health, I would have had to make at least one inspection just to have knowledge of the store.

If there are any new homes being built are they anywhere near to a sewer line? The only way that you can add customers is along a sewer line. As for increasing salaries, when a person is hired they agree to a specific amount of pay. As for billing, maybe the sewer department shouold see exactly how much each house is being billed. A single elderly person is not going to use as much water as a large family will use.

Yes, Jim McKeon won the election and is the new member. However, there is a real reason why elderly semi-retired members are on the board. Jim McKeon may have to take time off from his Warren Highway Department job in order to fulfill his duties upon the Board of Health. If he got a copy of the Annual Town Report when he voted, the Board of Health duties are listed on page 112 and 113. The duties are a lot more than just attending a meeting in public once a month.

The last 7 minutes of the meeting is important. The present Board of Assessors is elected. If you go to an appointed Board of Assessors, then the appointm3ent is taken out of the hands of the town voters. If you go to a hired Assessor, you will be dealing with someone who has a college degree and will expect to be paid a lot more than a stipend.

Anyone who wants to review the start of actions should replay the March 20, 2024 Board of Health Meeting.

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Is the Board THIS strict with ALL THE FOOD SERVICES IN WARREN? IDK What the woman was hired to do, but all I hear her doing is throwing around big words and chasing her tail. You guys are petty and bullies. You're taking the word of ONE PERSON who complained, who, from what I understand, WAS an Employee, who stole from the Owner! What about the point that VM had to pay fines to the State for said Employee stealing from the lottery. You're not going to tell me every business that serves food doesn't have some sort of bugs or rodents! Cockroaches are actually clean bugs and are found generally where pet food and alcohol is served, being their favorite dishes. To listen to you badger THIS poor woman on every single point, and then continue speaking about her behind her back, saying YOU don't believe she's ever run her own business before. Well, how do you know, unless you ask? Application is not complete? You want a step by step invoice, including BATHROOM BREAKS, from any business who provides service, especially Pest control!? I feel you are singling VM out and there's a Bull's-eye on her back. Time for you guys to retire and get some young blood with understanding and empathy. Who gives a crap that you used to watch apples get crushed and turned into cider! You get PAID for THIS? Serving on the Board? If I were VM, I would pull up roots and move to a more respectful and responsive town with Fair practices. Mentioning she has a Lawyer.... Why does she need one? Cuz of Boards who threaten her at any and every turn. You Men should be ashamed of yourselves! What if VM was YOUR MOM, OR SISTER, OR WIFE.... HOW WOULD YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS MISTREATMENT?? The board keeps moving the goal post for the Village Market owner. They're also not reviewing her documents before the meeting. I agree that they needed to shut her down originally, but they are changing the requirements on her reopening.

They should shut it down for good. The owner has nerves to call her out. They can shut it down this restaurant is definitely gross. Good thing I never eaten there yet. Masons is way cleaner and much organized. Sheesh

The store owner is repackaging expired foods and selling them and has the nerve to complain about the health inspector 😂

I don't know if it's your individual microphones or the large center one, but there is alot of booming and knocking sounds. May what to think about putting some type of insulating rubber mat or footing to reduce that drumming sound. Otherwise, everything else is working just fine. Thank You !!
