    Dude, please drop the part number for that spark plug socket from Honda. I have managed to change 3 of the 4 on my 03 750, and not socket I get to go in there works. If I can get 1 socket for all 4, that would be AWESOME

    I have the same exact model Takes synthetic non detergent air compressor oil and about 16.5-17 oz. I was looking for a 20oz or a 40 oz that way i can do 1 or 2 oil change but HD and CT only sells them in 32 oz containers.

    I bought a 2022 Honda trx90x and I did the initial oil change at 3 fuel tanks or 2 in a half months that also implies for the CRF 110. I think it better because your letting the engine fully break in the motor and the clutches

    I'm sure I'm just being paranoid but... I have a 2019 crf110 and it shakes when at idle. I have a crf50 and crf3001 and they're smooth as butter. Any chance yours shakes / feel it in the grips when riding or at idle? From the looks of yours, I see a similar shake.

    Great video. I have this exact bike and looking to change the oil. If you know the size of the plug and the size of the crush washer please let us know. I've watched dozens of videos and searched the Internet and can't for the life of me find this information. I want to buy a magnetic plug and new crush washers, and the only mention of sizes is on ebay (M12x1.5?), which I don't trust. I hate to have to drive to my local Honda dealer to get such simple parts but without knowing the size I may have to. Thanks

    How much oil does it hold once you've removed the old oil?

  • @jeffreyhickman3871
    @jeffreyhickman3871 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Tip, use some rubber lubricant (or soap) on your tire and rim beads. This will prevent bead hang-up, and possible air loss. Just don’t use petroleum based grease or oil, because they will damage your tire beads. The study 📖 is also inconclusive on food 🥘 based grease or oil (my own studies, I haven’t tried them). Clean 🧼 water 💧 is okay (preferably soapy clean water). Your friend, Jeff.

  • @jeffreyhickman3871
    @jeffreyhickman3871 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It would be a whole heck of a lot easier to use a chisel under the rim bead, hit the handle with a hammer 🔨, and go around the rim while doing so. I watched a friend do this with my 3 wheeler tire 🛞. It took less than 5 minutes. Your friend, Jeff.

      Yeah I thought that was a great idea myself. Except mine has been touched since the factory put it on in 81 and the wire is seized on the rim separating the rubber every time I hit it😂

    • @originalgarrett6003
      @originalgarrett6003 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So rookie mistake.. I used a folded over piece of sandpaper to clean the points, normally I’ve had success but there must have been enough residual oil on my hands to cause issues with the contacts on the points. Cleaned with a file and carb clean and it’s good now.

  • @George-kt6gm

    LUBE!! USE LUBE when mounting a tire on a rim!! And you should've cleaned the rust off the inside of the rim and painted it. That rust could and will cause leaks sooner or later.

    Muriatic/hydrochloric acid (aka brick acid) is superb for carb cleaning. It cannot harm brass but can dissolve aluminium castings so experiment with diluted acid.

    This is cleaning of fuel chambers only. There is lots more to do. Choke, pilot screws, rubber membranes, slides and more. Float level is not adjustable in this model. One thing less to sorry about. Waiting for part 2.

  • @mattclark254

    Why not use a bead sealer like " Murphys " Right before airing the tire up. It would have seated the first time with a little lubricant. Making a video installing a 2 piece wheel is very dangerous and should not be done like that ! Especially dry.. Oh and buy the way your supposed to have backing plates on that kind of wheel !

    Dropped my 74 Honda 125 Scrambler in a puddle of water today and now she's not idling well. Seems to be getting great spark and runs fine at high rmp, but will not idle. Guess I better take the carb off and see if anything is wrong in there.
