There are no pros anymore! The State use to one of the best states to live in, now it sucks. 9th worse state to live in, way to liberal (has be come the California of the east), high taxes, fees, poor schools and high crime. There are three counties that get the majority of tax dollars. It is spent on entitlements in Prince Georges, Montgomery and Baltimore counties. Cost of living is getting out of sight. First time home ownership is barely available because of the high cost of living. We have need a new location and bridge for the Chesapeake Bay, they have spent billions, and billions on studies for over forty years and there is still not bridge, plus they have decided to put it where no one wants it because the area is already under heavily inundated with so much traffic locals can not move anywhere Thursday through Sunday. Way to much government interference in citizen’s daily lives. Not a senior friendly state.

Bowie is definitely expensive Me and 3 tenants were renting a home in the basement area of a landlord home on Fairwood Pkway Each room $1450.00 which includes you have your own bathroom free cable, and washer/dryer, not allowed to have any guest to visit you, or any sleep over, one stove/oven and two sinks total of 4 tentnants in the basement ???? Would you rent from the home owner, once my lease was up, I move very far away from Bowie

I lived in Odenton (right across from the Marc) several years ago. I liked it, but I felt that I was still too far away from all the “action”. I moved to North Baltimore and was there for 2 years. After living in the city for a few years, I have now made the decision to move back to Odenton. All that action I thought I was missing out on I found was really overrated (not to mention, expensive). So in less than a week, I will be an Odenton resident once more. It took living in Baltimore for me to really appreciate Odenton!
