Yes if you heat too much and stretch it enough the pattern will look awful. Just do mild stretching if needed. You will know when you stretch to much the lines will be off & the gloss will look dull & very noticeable. Thank you for your comment 😁

I honestly have no idea to be honest. I would guess they are different because the car shape is completely different on a C5 & C6 but that’s me just guessing. Sorry I am not much help.

@@BasinMotorsports I didn’t use the 3 inch cowl hood I used the OEM hood and I wrapped it in one piece it came out perfect 🤩

It would still work no problem. I just took the plate off & found it much easier to wrap. Also my car is White so I wanted to make sure I had full coverage & that people wouldn’t see the white through the Nardo Grey. Good luck on your project I hope some of my videos help you out.

Thank you 👍 appreciate the comment. Yes I used knifeless tape I believe there is a first part video of where I wrap the back bumper grey first and then apply the black in this 2nd part. But yes definitely use knifeless tape it’s such a life saver and makes the cuts look very clean

Nope I have had zero issues with the exhaust heat. I was thinking the same thing but very surprised that it’s holding up well 🤞

That I don’t remember. For that I just ran the wrap that I had over & just cut what I needed. It was a hard part to measure by myself

yes 5x60 would be more than plenty

I am sure it can be done in one piece but it’s very difficult doing it in 2 pieces already. I am not experienced but it definitely was a pain in the ass. Give it a try in 1 piece and let me know how it goes for you. Thank you for commenting 😁

For the corvette lettering what I did was cut a little slit and press it down for each letter, for it too remain flat & then I inserted the Decal Stickers over top so it remains flush at all times. So far I haven't noticed any lifting or peel back.

Sweet that’s awesome. Best advice I can give you is have a friend handy and stretch it out evenly. With someone’s help it would be a hell a lot easier. If you can’t get someone try your best to stretch out one side first work your way too the middle and repeat on the opposite side. Good luck buddy 👍👍

Honestly the front bumper I will be posting a video on Friday & you can even hear it in my voice. Best thing i recommend is have a friend for the front bumper to stretch it out evenly. Doing it solo sucked!! 😂

Place I recommend is called Instawraps is where I purchased my vinyl they have a variety. Yes I have worked with a lot of pasti dip in the past very easy to work with & best part is it’s remove able. Damn ya I hate rust. Try and sand down as much rust off as you can and hit it with some primer if you don’t the rust will show right threw the vinyl wrap. Vinyl wrap does hide some scratches but not all. Thank you for your comment 👍

Have done few projects with plasti dip mostly bikes rims and emblems . IRL stuff always a hit love to see you enjoying what your doing thank again for sharing it with us .

Vinyl wrapping i have done little things like couple emblems etc.. but never an entire car. Thanks I appreciate you liking my videos it’s definitely a lot of work n I am proud. I have pasti dipped emblems in the past it’s very easy job
