@ thanks for replying. Specifically, an “over/under” dual idler for both drive and return. Some have them, most seem to have only the return. Was wondering if there was a design or efficiency improvement ?

yes, like the one on the screamer: th-cam.com/video/SGGiyF8SoQg/w-d-xo.html personally I don't think it makes a big difference in efficiency more than the chance of a longer chain dropping out due to road shocks.

USS offers an open cockpit and placing my arms lower resulting in a more relaxed handling, though not as precise as OSS bents. 26" wheels offer a great rolling efficiency on open roads but not as nimble if I ride it on sidewalks as it's common to do here in Singapore.

It should come with a rack but I removed it as it is heavy and I don't need it. As it has a 26" front wheel, beware of heel strike that may lead to a nasty fall due to it being a high racer. It's a well built bike for its price so it should be sturdy. Being a alu bike, double check the nuts securing the boom as many bike suffer damage due to over tightening at that area. Enjoy

as the old paths aren't maintained properly, some parts are pretty 'broken' but it's rideable.

@HappyFeetCycling168 Just saw the video. I'm happy to see that the designer tried to capture old vibes as much as possible at certain segments of the old park and by preserving the old trees. I lived nearby for 19 years. Used to walk there almost every day.

cheers, it what 360 reframing anything it captures that made it possible. What I do is reframe and position myself in the centre using insta360 studio editing s/w, quite easy. The time consuming part is how you want to reframe your footage since many possibilities aplenty that made it time consuming, but not diff.

insta360 does have a auto feature called deep tracking where you highlight an area to 'track and position' automatically like ddi's Active Tracking, but I don't use it since it isn't 100% accurate and it adds extra time to editing. Manual reframing is an easier workflow for me.

I used the stick that came with the camera. It's a 114cm invisible stick fully extended.

any longer would be too heavy to hand hold and won't be practical. I thought of mounting it on the bike but it would be restrictive and there's no mount I think would fit well on our kind of bikes to get the kind of perspectives I want. IF there's a stick that is as long and lighter, I would try them.

It's rideable if you can find a route to reach the Northern Rail Corridor/Kranji station area from Woodlands. The green route should be soothing despite a little distance.

@@HappyFeetCycling168 Yes, the Rail Corridor is literally at my doorstep but it’s still quite far to downtown. Been to Alexandra but there I had to turn around.

from my place via the rail corridor to cbd would probably take 20km -ish one way. The distance seems acceptable as it's quite an enjoyable cooling ride. try it sometimes.

there are at least 3 water and toilet points on the rail corridor, so it's quite accessible.

editing x4 footages is time consuming vs gopro cams. Too many perspective can be generated from the same shot. I try to eliminate extreme distortions else I find giddy myself LoL
