We spent the morning pushing through the thickest ice and I was able to get some cool photos of the thick ice. I was able to get some great photos of the ice under the water and a seal laying on a large portion of ice

Spent the day with Nigel Danson photographing ice and icebergs with a moody sky. Great time learning from the master

Landing to photograph seals and penguins then an afternoon zodiac to photograph icebergs and seals. These days are jammed packed with fun and excitement

Two excursions this day - one was a landing to photograph penguins then an afternoon zodiac ride to photograph Icebergs.

After a bunch of instruction de-sanitizing all the gear you will wear on land and zodiac instruction off we went on our first landing on the continent of Antarctica!

Finally get the news that our flight has been cleared and we are off to Antarctica. There are 2 ways to get to Antarctica - Sail across the Drake Passage, or fly. Drake takes 2 days each way and cuts time off your trip, flight is 1.5 hours BUT the conditions have to be perfect! We were luckily only delayed by one day

Amazing hike past the waterfall and out to Cuernos lookout. The wind was crazy strong to the point I needed to squat down to keep from being blown over. The mist off the water was incredible to watch and was a precurser to the strong wind coming.

Hike along the lake to the Frances Valley to Italiano Ranger Station. Easy hike through the burned forrest and up to the Ranger station where you can rest, chill and drop off your gear for the hike up to the lookout. Hike to the lookup and is rock scramble and fun!

The hike up to the horns of Mirador Las Torres. 13 miles round trip. 3000 feet of elevation over the 6.5. Last portion is 1500 straight up like being on a stair stepper for 1.5 hours. Started at 330 am. Took 4 hours in the dark and arrived just after sunrise. Amazing sight rounding the corner to see the lake and giant horns!!

Hike to Lago Grey - Very cool hike out along the lake to the beach and across the sand bar to an island that over looks the glacier

Drive into Torres Del Paine. About 2 hours from Puerto Natales out Rt 9. Approximately 40 min outside the park you could begin to see the Cuernos del Paine and Paine Grande mountain range. What an amazing sight
