She’s a gem. Glad I listened to Bret’s side first
Those are honey bee sunglasses , Josey 🤘
I'm a 25 year old girl and I just discovered Saliva a few months ago but in the span of 6 months, their music and Josey's story has helped stop me from suicide, helped me get through 2 crises, a horrible case of laryngitis and chest pain that hospitalized me, determining who is fake and real in my life, and because of all this progress I have graduated DBT group therapy and I now go to the gym and pool 3x a week with my dad (who was previously abusive to me). My ENTIRE LIFE has turned all the way around because of Saliva and Josey. I don't even know what to say to him, but I meet him in March and all I know is that Im gonna hug him as hard as ever and never let him go. I love him so much, I never expected to find someone so inspirational in my life, but he has told me that I'M encouraging him and that just means EVERYTHING to me. The universe brought me to him and his music for a reason. I can't get a single Saliva song stuck out of my head. I have magazine cutouts of them all over my wall and framed photos of Josey. I'm probably the biggest Saliva fan out there. But I don't care I just can't wait to see and meet Josey. It'll be the best day of my life.
Bryan, one question for you: Why do you have the stupid looking piercing on your face? Cool? NOT!
Ricky Nelson is my 6th cousin not saying we are related but maybe we are…
I love big John He is so sweet and entertaining. He would be a great co host.
I love that song
Toryn was actually a solid singer but no one could get past the original lineup change. It’s just like the Journey curse where fans couldn’t get behind anyone but Steve Perry.
The band Adema needs to bring this guy in cuz their guitar sings awful.
Alright then K@r3n...
Josey is so expressive and it's so cute, he's a legend ❤
This guy got nothing on Brett
Not even the dude they have now. Has an ego.
He is also known in vegas for not paying people
I love how everytime she starts talking about something big she gets all twitchy like a crack head. Also love how she starts with brett and wayde hate each other then later are in cahoots to bring her down.
Is that Brian Cody's brother asking the questions?
He was a handsome dude! I love his music. I grew up on music of his era and he was a great singer. What a horrible end for a legend.
His voice is awful. Thankfully he was replaced. Lmfao
I only know one fuel frontman this guy is a stranger to me
Not the real one.
He sounds like a karaoke songer
He's not a Doctor either...
And you did the world a favour by disbanding, and we thank you for that lol
And now the band is back but a new singer 10 times awful at singing.
Just another Alice in Chains knock-off :)
Seems nice but oh my god what horrible horrible music.
Fuel don't work without the original line up.
alright then Karen
Shimmer
Not that crazy of a story
Thank you for this sharing of real-life challenges and inspiration from Matthew and Gunnar. They became famous at a time toward the end of the 80s start of the 90s where alot of people had big egos in the entertainment industry, so I am not surprised about guys at MTV not wanting to play their After the Rain video which actually has alot of symbolism in relation to the Native American, the feather, the astral plane dream world and vision quest. Even though the first part of the video is difficult to watch, it puts into context how the teen boy is feeling and gives a snapshot of what his life is like. He gets a glimpse of how his life could be better. However I see alot more deeper meaning to the song and video with the Native American showing his war paint, he was going to fight the dark entities that were causing his father to treat his son badly. The Nelson twins are the teen boy's Guardian Angels (spiritual mentors) showing him the way to make his life better. He finds the feather at the end as a reminder it wasn't just a dream. That entire video is very beautifully done, from the visual images to the pacing of the music telling the story. Even a bit of fantasy with the teen boy falling down through the vortex. That video should get an Emmy or a Grammy or whatever highest level of video production there is nowadays. Gunnar is totally right that they were considered "anti" to the darker agenda which was to steer the young people into listening to depressing aggro music and not happy upbeat inspiring music. This world does need upbeat, inspiring music. It's actually healthy for our brains to listen to higher vibe music. It is not healthy to listen to low vibe music. I grew up in the 80s and found the 90s really a big downer. It was not a happy decade at all. It was interesting, but not a decade I would want to relive. I much prefer the sunnier side of life, and I am very happy the Nelson guys were so determined to stay true to their style of music.
That’s a horrible version of that song. Sounds like a karaoke version. That is not the gritty voice of fuel. Sounds like out of gas
no this is not the original doesn't sound nothing like his voice this guy sounds too twangy in his voice no way its the original
Can you read?
I legit thought that Alice In Chains or Stone Temple Pilots should've given Toryn a shot. I followed all the bands that he did, all the major stuff AND the underground bands. He could write legit vocal melodies - memorable songs that you want to keep coming back to. The guys that AiC and STP picked are good singers, but their songs just sounds generic, besides a few singles here and there.
The former lead singer of the cover band fuel
Wait, where I live, in about 2 weeks, fuel, hinder, and tonic are playing about an hour and a half away.. the lead singer of fuel won't be the OG dude from all the music videos???
to be fair the original band is lame and their fans are dorks
@@erikaw7767 You must be a fan cuz you were watching this video Lol!
@xtrm2009 I couldn't name any of their shitty songs I've heard..I just know of them. It's butt rock at its worst..but sure if the algorithm sends you a video on a band it couldn't possibly be a suggestion..it's because of Fandom..you must be a wiz..
Come on with this click bait BS
International search and this is what got coughed up?
One of the greatest songs of its time, and still good, never played out...
Man i wish i couldsing great
Bullshit.
this guy didnt sing the hits.... please..
Aaagaaaanion
That a tattooed beard?
Sounds like an Eddie Vedder parody
Buuz Osborne of The Melvins spoke about the mid 90s rock sound that he compared to the yodel voice of Eddie V. o.0 or ohhh eee ohh how ever that goes o.0
Yep. Brett Scallions was the OG that made them all of their money.
Gayyy
He knew how to make him feel it. 😂
He was the 2nd lead singer. The crappy one that didn't make them famous. Sorry I'm going to say it. The lead singers voice makes the band and after that there a glorified cover band..... just ask hinder
Yeah that clip sounds awful.
yea but anyone who likes fuel is a tool lol.
Alice in chains? stp? acdc?
@@fila6243 ac/dc doesn’t fall into that category. Their second singer sang on some hits and good records. I’d put aic and stp onto that cetegory for sure. Sublime and pantera too (just not the same as dime-zakk wylde doesn’t cut it at all.. I like seeing these bands, but it’s different and just sounds like a good cover band.
He's not a bad singer. His voice just didn't fit the style of Fuel. He's more suitable for the band Adema. They need to bring this guy to it.
Omg this pod cast was the best yoooooo. His neices sound like straight garbage. His son is a lil puss
This ain't j to roc
If you watch Tanked you see that Brett has the brilliant ideas for tanks, I am in shock that there is so much hate by Heather, but Wayde should never have said "your brother knew", he broke the code
I'm glad you got that song out brother
I love this! I’ve been following Toryn’s career since he was in Fuel. Can’t wait for part 2. 😃
Those are "its a small world" stories! 😊 L9ve it!
This interview is all over the place... No consistency. 😑
