Jackson sounds tinny. Ibanez pickups sound silkyer. Jackson has crap pickups at the price point.
Wdym. I think Jackson's high gain was a bit better. But, in the clean test, if they did it right, Jackson probably could've had a clean tone.

@@elvernicolas3748 Single coils are better for a clean sound you can plug the guitar straight to a clean amp and have a great tone for blues/jazz but when you put in a lot of distortion they will most likely sound horrible, humbuckers on a clean amp will sound very dull, but as you add distortion they sound great

Would depend on your setup/strings/amp
On high gain they were pretty even, maybe Jacks slightly better. On clean Ibanez dominated!! Jacks couldn't even do a proper clean sound for some reason 😭

I have the Blackstar, no real control over the tone with a neck humbucker high gain, it's muddy or less muddy. Had to add a pedal with good tone control, an eq actually dudnt seem to work, added nux plexi crunch and a noise reducer, bearing that in mind the £100 Blackstar setup now cost me £170. So i would in future steer clear of any amp without decent tone control.
