A shame the lighting was so poor. Very hard to see more than shapes in many cases. I noticed many tombstone and cathedral style radios which are my interest, but mostly too dark to see many.

What’s the prices on some of these? Are they expensive?

N3PM is selling his Ten Tec Eagle. . .good price. Before the internet, this was the only way to get something ham related. Today, Ebay and other dedicated sites is all you need to get what you need to have.

Traditionally, Amateur Radio operators look down their collective noses at CB operators. And yet nearly every hamfest produces a lot of CB gear for sale, both new & used. Funny.

That was a great Hamfest on Sunday. A lot of vendors selling their wares. The food the Boy Scout troop was selling was delicious. I scored one of those Reliance Antennas EFRW antenna. Now when im older and grayer, and more forgetful, ill be able to look at this video and remember this hamfest fondly. Thanks for the great video. 73.

Wow the amount of golf carts would drive me nuts. The shoyld have to give way to the folks walking. Love the drive by at 56 minutes.

I never knew about this location for a Hamfest. I have been looking for one with these many vendors for years in the NY/NJ area. Are there anymore that are this size ? Many kudos to the videographer...hands down the best I have ever watched. Thank you.

Agree with others' comments, there was a bunch of junk at this ham swap. CB radios, what a disgrace. The organizers really need to do a better job policing the sellers. There was a guy selling air an air mattress, a guy selling music keyboards, a dude was selling DVR surveillance systems, people selling crafts and confederate flags, OMG, what a joke. Most of the boat anchors there were in horrible condition, looking as if they'd spent years in a dank, damp shed or something, and ridiculously over priced. I drove there from southeast Georgia, what a waste. Won't be back.

Been following your channel for awhile now. I normally go to Shelby every year. I didn't get to go this year. Thanks for making this video since I wasn't able to go. Good job at capturing the prices. First time I've seen a video this far south.

I hope that you post this video a week or so before next years hamfest. I think TH-cam reaches a very wide audience. Anyone searching for anything ham radio will have these type videos open up on their home screen. Thanks for the posting. I’ll put it on my calendar for next year.

This cracks me up.....Traditionally, Amateur Radio operators are taught to look down at and belittle CBers for not abiding by the rules etc. and supposedly being technically incompetent. But yet at nearly every hamfest or swapmeet there are old geezer ham/CB operators trying to sell their CB radios, illegal amplifiers, noise boxes, etc. and a lot of it is high-end. Hi Hi!

Around 8:29, did you see those guys wearing the gold Ham Radio badges around their neck? They are lucky not to have gotten pinched for impersonating a police officer..

I snagged that MFJ 2M SWR meter at the beginning of the video 😃 At 14:00 there was an HP35 calculator, they go for good money even as parts-only to HP Calc aficianados. I passed on it.

So much cool stuff. Saw many Yaesu 101's that would have gone home with me. I have to try and get to that fest next time.
