You've got fully grown adults pulling teenage sass in almost every event and story instance, ubiquitous American (Tyrian) accent in a land that's supposed to have been isolated, and then there's all the lame entry-level modern politics and slang, it's making the story a chore to get through Hoping to god the writers aren't still at Anet

BTW, and 2 years off I know, but when you get to SOTO, (if you made it that far) your playable character is referred to by other NPCs as "They/Them" Don't tell me a line of code couldn't figure out which sex you chose for your character. So Annoying.

Caithe, Malice, Crecia, Anise, Livia, Jennah, Some female Asura from Rata Sum, the main lady from Amnoon, the dead lady from Amnoon, Dagda, The Kodan lady, do you get my point? On the Male side we have the Son of Knut Whitebear, Braham (fuck him, doesnt count, should have died 8 years ago), Laranthir, Isgarren. Thats about it. Than there was the whole "Heroes journey" of peitha, who figuered out she was great all along. It is just me or did guild wars 2 go...kinda Feminist feverdream? I got to say, it kinda turns me away and i played this game since launch.

Bro i just finished act 2 of eod and this edgy and cringe dialogue which you cant skip made me feel frustrations i have never had before. I got to watch more youtube while this dialogue played than actually playing the expansion...

Drama Ending: WvW alliances get released but it evolves into a cesspit of CC commanders who farm drama on youtube and desert borderlands map chat and EB becomes a cesspit of random online arguements. The only havens are alpine borderlands where like 12 psychos are farming for their WvW legendary armor at the camps and afking their life away on youtube watching it all. I am one of them. Anime Ending: WvW alliances get released but NCsoft somehow convinces Anet to turn GW2 into an anime game. The Best Ending: Anet announces GW3, it's just GW2 with better graphics and Alliances already integrated. We keep our stuff, they flip a switch, we're there. And then they start releasing xpacks that have both good content and a good story. Only occurs in our deepest and furthest dreams.

You know what they say: pray for peak ending but expect the doom ending.
